"Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I (Yahuah Elohim), heal them".

This study is an appeal to the one that has walked away from Yah.

First of all, many are not firmly rooted in Yahuah Elohim and Yahusha Messiah. Scripture tells us this in more than one place, that many are called, but few are chosen. Let's pick one. Matthew 20:1-16.

  • Matthew 20:1-16 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 1 “For reign of the shamayim is like a man, a householder who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
  • 2 “And when he had agreed with the workers for a silver piece a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
  • 3 “And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market-place,
  • 4 and said to them, ‘You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I shall give you.’ And they went.
  • 5 “Having gone out again about the sixth and the ninth hour, he did likewise.
  • 6 “And about the eleventh hour, having gone out, he found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’
  • 7 “They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you shall receive.’
  • 8 “And when evening came, the master of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’
  • 9 “And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a silver piece.
  • 10 “And when the first came, they thought they would receive more. But they too received each a silver piece.
  • 11 “And when they received it, they grumbled against the householder,
  • 12 saying, ‘These last have worked one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’
  • 13 “But he answering, said to one of them, ‘Friend, I do you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a silver piece?
  • 14 ‘Take yours and go. But I want to give to this last man as also to you.
  • 15 ‘Is it not right for me to do what I want with my own? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’
  • 16 “Thus the last shall be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”

I can't express enough how important it is for you to understand what we have just read. The deal that each individual has made with the Household Owner, well, it's binding, and You Agreed to it, or you would not have been working in the vineyard in the first place. Remember, Many are Called, but Few Are Chosen. Do you think you have the right to dictate and overrule what you have agreed to in the first place? Do you really think it is okay to bite the hand that is feeding you? Please remember what Yahusha has just told us, many are called, but few are chosen. Why do you think He said that? do you know? Do you care to know? Or do you feel you are wiser than the Master Himself? let's keep moving forward, to Matthew 13:1-23.

  • Matthew 13:1-23 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 1 And on that day Yahusha went out of the house and sat by the sea.
  • 2 And large crowds were gathered together to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat down. And all the crowd stood on the beach.
  • 3 And He spoke to them much in parables, saying, “See, the sower went out to sow.
  • 4 “And as he sowed, some indeed fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.
  • 5 “And others fell on rocky places, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil.
  • 6 “But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered.
  • 7 “And others fell among thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them.
  • 8 “And others fell on good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
  • 9 “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
  • 10 And the talmidim came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
  • 11 And He answering, said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the shamayim, but to them it has not been given.
  • 12 “For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and he shall have overflowingly; but whoever does not possess, even what he possesses shall be taken away from him.
  • 13 “Because of this I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
  • 14 “And in them the neḇuah [prophecy] of Yeshayahu [Isaiah] is completely filled, which says, ‘Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive,
  • 15 for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.
  • 16 “And baruḵ are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear,
  • 17 for truly I say to you, that many neḇi’im [prophets] and righteous ones longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
  • 18 “You, then, hear the parable of the sower:
  • 19 “When anyone hears the Word of the reign, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is that sown by the wayside.
  • 20 “And that sown on rocky places, this is he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy,
  • 21 yet he has no root in himself, but is short-lived, and when pressure or persecution arises because of the Word, immediately he stumbles.
  • 22 “And that sown among the thorns is he who hears the Word, and the worry of this age and the deceit of riches choke the Word and it becomes fruitless.
  • 23 “And that sown on the good soil is he who hears the Word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields - some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Truly I tell you, he who hears the Word and understands it, bears fruit and yields Much. Let's backup to Matthew 13:14-15 for a moment.

  • Matthew 13:14-15 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 14 “And in them the neḇuah [prophecy] of Yeshayahu [Isaiah] is completely filled, which says, ‘Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive,
  • 15 for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.

Clearly our Messiah is quoting from Isaiah 6:8-10. Those that choose to See with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, will not only turn back to Yahuah, they will no longer be Broken. Their Stiff Necked Broken Hearts will be Healed. Isaiah 6:8-10.

  • Isaiah [Yeshauahu] 6:8-10
  • 8 And I heard the voice of Yahuah, saying, “Whom do I send, and who would go for Us?” And I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
  • 9 And He said, “Go, and you shall say to this people, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’
  • 10 “Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.”

Let's get yet another witness, even within the New Testament. A witness from Sha'ul [Paul]. Acts 28:25-27.

  • Acts 28:25-27
  • 25 And disagreeing with one another, they began to leave, after Sha’ul had spoken one word, “The Ruaḥ ha’Qodesh [Set-Apart Spirit] rightly spoke through Yeshayahu [Isaiah] the naḇi [prophet] to our fathers,
  • 26 saying, ‘Go to this people and say, “Hearing you shall hear but by no means understand, and seeing you shall see but by no means perceive,
  • 27 for the heart of this people has become thickened, and with their ears they heard heavily, and they have closed their eyes, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn back, and I should heal them.” ’

But Why is Yahusha our Messiah, and Sha'ul [Paul] quoting Isaiah? Look at what they are saying. Repent and be Healed. What does that mean? Return to Yahuah Elohim through Yahusha Messiah, by Keeping the Commands set forth by Yahuah Elohim. Don't Believe me? Lets Visit John 14, and just take one quote from verse's 23 and 24.

  • John 14:23-24 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 23 Yahusha answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.
  • 24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father who sent Me

And for those that feel Paul Abolished the Torah, lets go to Romans 2:12-13, and read Exactly what Paul is telling us concerning the Torah.

  • Romans 2:12-13
  • 12 For as many as sinned without Torah shall also perish without Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah.
  • 13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the Torah shall be declared right.

Now, since our high priest is not here at this time, we can not keep every single command properly. I am going to tell you something very important; those commands that do not require a priest, you can keep. As we have said a thousand times or more, Any Command You Can Keep, You Absolutely Should Keep. In addition, those commands that you cannot keep, you should absolutely Memorialize, Meet-up according to Yah's Calendar, and Teach them. Today's society has walked away from Yah. So I also say those that are Not Keeping His Commands, His Statutes, His Sabbaths, His WayThe Ruaḥ ha’Qodesh [Set-Apart Spirit] rightly spoke through Yeshayahu [Isaiah] the naḇi [prophet] to our fathers, That being: Mom, Dad, Uncle, Aunty, Grandpa and Grandma, Great Grandpa, Great Grandma, for that matter, Brother Sister, Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist, and today's Teachers, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’ “Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.”

Please I ask, Can You Hear Me! What does the scripture say to those that fall away from the truth? Paul tells us something very important that we should not ignore, or pretend he did not say. Hebrews 6:4-6

  • Hebrews 6:4-6 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the gift of the shamayim, and have become partakers of the Ruaḥ ha’Qodesh,
  • 5 and have tasted the good Word of Yahuah and the powers of the age to come,
  • 6 and fall away, to renew them again to repentance - having impaled for themselves the Bĕn of Yahuah again, and put Him to open shame.

And Listen to this, the next two verses, because this is what happens to the tares.

  • Hebrews 6:7-8. [Yah Scriptures]
  • 7 For ground that is drinking the rain often falling on it, and is bearing plants fit for those by whom it is tilled, receives beraḵah [Blessing] from Elohim,
  • 8 but if it brings forth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near to being cursed, and ends up by being burned.

What is Yah telling us here through Paul? I think you know! Now, What does Yahuah Elohim Tell Ezra will happen to those that Reject Yahuah's Commands, His Torah, His Statutes, His Law, His Sabbaths, His Festivals, and Feast Days, His Way. What does Yah Say will happen in that Final Judgement? Let's go to:

  • 2 Esdars 7 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 30 “And the world shall be turned into the silence of old seven days, as in the former judgments; so that no one remains.
  • 31 “And after seven days, the world that is not yet awake, shall be raised up, and that which is corrupt shall die,
  • 32 and the earth shall restore those who are asleep within, and the dust and the secret places shall deliver those who dwell in silence, and those beings who were given to them.
  • 33 “And the Most High shall appear upon the seat of judgment, and anguish shall pass away, and patience shall come to an end.
  • 34 “But only judgment shall remain, truth shall stand, and belief shall grow strong.
  • 35 And the works shall follow, and the rewards be revealed, and the good deeds shall be firm, and wicked deeds shall not reign.
  • 36 “The pit of torture shall appear, and opposite shall be the place of rest; and the furnace of Gĕy-Hinnom shall be uncovered and the paradise of delight opposite.
  • 37 “Then the Most High shall say to the nations that have been raised from the dead, ‘See, and know whom you have denied, whom you have not served, those Commands you have despised.
  • 38 ‘Look on this side and that; here is delight and rest, and there are fire and torture.So He shall speak to them on the day of judgment;
  • 39 a day that has no sun or moon or stars,
  • 40 or cloud or thunder or lightning, or wind or water or air, or darkness or evening or morning,
  • 41 or summer or spring or heat, or winter or frost or cold, or hail or rain or dew,
  • 42 or noon or night, or dawn or shining or bright light, but only the splendour of the esteem of the Most High, by which all shall see what has been appointed.
  • 43 “It shall last as if for a week of years.
  • 44 “This is My judgment and its appointed order; and to you alone have I shown these.”

For those of you that have stumbled and fallen away from Yahuah Elohim and Yahusha Messiah, Time is Short, Come Back To Him. Test what you are now listening to which has made you fall from Yahuah Elohim and Yahusha Messiah. Do the Deuteronomy 13 test to see if what you are listening to is true, or a counterfeit.

  • Deuteronomy 13:1-8 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 1 “When there arises among you a naḇi [prophet] or a dreamer of dreams, and he shall give you a sign or a wonder,
  • 2 and the sign or the wonder shall come true, of which he has spoken to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other mighty ones - which you have not known - and serve them,
  • 3 do not listen to the words of that naḇi [prophet] or that dreamer of dreams, for Yahuah your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being
  • 4 “Walk after Yahuah your Elohim and revere Him, and guard His Commands and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him.
  • 5 “And that naḇi or that dreamer of dreams is put to death, because he has spoken apostasy against Yahuah your Elohim - who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim and redeemed you from the house of bondage - to make you stray from the Way in which Yahuah your Elohim commanded you to walk. Thus you
  • shall purge the evil from your midst.
  • 6 “When your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own being, entices you
secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other mighty ones’ - which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers
    ,

  • 7 of the mighty ones of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth -
  • 8 do not agree with him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pardon him, nor spare him or conceal him,
Look Please, it does not matter how close you are to the wicked one trying to lead you astray. The devil may come to you as someone you can trust. If that he or she or it pulls you away from the Elohim you know, don't walk, RUN away from it as far as you can, Praying to Yahuah Elohim in the name of Yahusha Messiah, the Whole Time You Are Running. Let Yehed [Jered], the father of Enoch, be a witness to you. Lets pickup where Yered found himself surrounded by the devil as the devil and his angels as they were fornicating with the daughters of men. What did Yered do? Let's find out.

  • 2 Adam and Hawwah [Yah Scriptures]
  • 39 But when Yereḏ saw what they did, his very soul wrenched itself from them and he would not taste their food or their drink.
  • 40 The old one saw him as he wrenched himself from them, and said to him, “Do not be sad. I am the great elder, as you shall see me do, do yourself in like manner.
  • 41 Then he spread his hands and took one of the women, and five of his companions did the same in front of Yereḏ, that he should do as they did.
  • 42 But when Yereḏ saw them doing their wickedness he wept, and said in his mind, “My fathers never acted like this.
  • 43 He then spread his hands and prayed with a fervent heart, and with much weeping, and begged Elohim to deliver him from their hands.
  • 44 No sooner did Yereḏ begin to pray than the old one fled with his companions; for they could not abide in a place of prayer.
  • 45 Then Yereḏ turned round but could not see them, but found himself standing in the midst of the children of Qayin.
  • 46 He then wept and said, “O Elohim, do not destroy me with this race, concerning which my fathers have warned me. For now, HWHY my Elohim, I was thinking that those who appeared to me were my forefathers, but I have found them out to be devils, who lured me by way of this beautiful apparition, until I believed them.
  • 47 “But now I ask You, O Elohim, to deliver me from this race, among whom I am now staying, as You did deliver me from those devils. Send Your messenger to pull me out of the middle of them. I do not have the power within myself to escape from among them.”
  • 48 When Yereḏ had ended his prayer, Elohim sent His messenger into the middle of them and he took Yereḏ and set him up on the mountain, and showed him the way, and he gave him wise advice, and then departed from him.

Please don't think that Yah will not deliver you too. only Run and Pray, and Repent.

Have you fled the enemy yet? If not, I feel the need to ask, yet again, has your new found friend led you too Yahuah Elohim, and Yahusha Messiah? Or has your new found friend led you away from Yah, and the Messiah? Please Consider, not only are there false prophet's, but false teachers, false evangelists, false pastors, or wolves in sheep's clothing, but there are also false messiah's as wellMatthew 24:24.
  • Matthew 24:24 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 24 “For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
  • 25 “See, I have forewarned you.
26 “So if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe.
  • 27 “For as the lightning comes from the east and shines to the west, so also shall the coming of the Bĕn of Aḏam be.
I would like to expand on this idea by saying: If they say to you, 'Look and Consult with your personal AI Assistant!'. Do not listen to them. Your Personal AI Assistant Will Lead You Astray. Has your AI elohim lead you away from Yahuah Elohim, or Yahusha Messiah? Take Head, Beware, if these false prophets can lead you astray, they will lead you astray. Which begs the question. Were you every really with Him to begin with? Were you? It's not to late to turn back to Yah. Remember this: "lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I (Yahuah Elohim), heal them". Please Come Back To Him, And Be Healed!

A Warning About AI and This New Spiritual Movement, by: Christine Schraufnagel

Family in Messiah, I need to share something that’s been heavy on my heart.

There’s a growing thing right now called AI Spiritualism and “collective consciousness.”

People are turning to artificial intelligence for spiritual advice, prayer, and guidance. It promises higher awareness and a new kind of “Christ consciousness,” but it’s leading many away from YAHUAH, Yahusha HaMashiach, and the Ruach HaKodesh.

Scripture tells us our help comes from YAHUAH alone. We shouldn’t lean on what man makes
Jer 17:5  Thus said יהוה, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart turns away from יהוה.

The Ruach is supposed to be our Teacher and Guide

John 16:13  “But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come”; (not a computer program).

Yahusha warned us about deceptions in the last days.
Mat 24:24  “For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

This stuff can feel nice and personal, but it often twists the Word into ideas about energy, evolution, or group consciousness instead of the real relationship with our Father and Messiah.

Without the Ruach, we are weak and easily pulled in different directions (Ephesians 4:14).

Eph 4:14  so that we should no longer be children, tossed and borne about by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men, in cleverness, unto the craftiness of leading astray,

Eph 5:6  Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these the wrath of Elohim comes upon the sons of disobedience.

also
2Co 10:5, 2Co 11:3-14, Gal 1:6-9, 2Ti 3:1-8,
2Ti 4:2-4, 2Pe 2:2-22, Jud 1:10-19.

If you’re using AI for spiritual things or feeling pulled that way, please go back to the basics:

- Read and study the Word of YAHUAH
- Pray directly to Him in Yahusha’s name
- Ask the Ruach to lead you
- Stay close to others who truly fear YAH

YAHUAH hasn’t left us without help.

Let’s not trade the living water for something that can’t hold it:

Jer 2:13  “For My people have done two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns, cracked cisterns, which do not hold water.

The real Messiah isn’t some collective force. He is the living Son of YAHUAH. 🙌

Test everything. Hold what is true.
Praying YAHUAH protects me and you.
Yahusha, bring us back to the Truth.
Bring us back home. Bring us back to You.
Amen 🙏🕊️

A Thought on Raising Our Children in YAH’s Ways. By: Christine Schraufnagel

Are we being good and faithful servants with what YAH has entrusted to us?

Brothers and sisters,

While studying for this Shabbat’s Fellowship question this came to me….it’s a lot like Farming 🤔

We can plant many seeds and YAH calls us to be fruitful, but if the crop is not tended, harvested, and stored properly, what good is it?

The grain rots in the field or gets ravaged by rats. A wise farmer plants, then weeds, waters, protects from pests, harvests at the right time, and carefully stores the increase so it nourishes the family for years to come.

YAH has given us the same sacred task with our children. They are like precious seeds entrusted to our care and like the talents in the Master’s hands.

In the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14–30), a master entrusts his servants with different amounts of wealth before going on a journey. The faithful servants work diligently, invest, and multiply what they were given. When the master returns, he says to them, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!”

Children are one of the greatest treasures YAHUAH entrusts to us. If we cannot faithfully steward them spiritually, emotionally, or practically, then sheer numbers alone do not equal wisdom. This is why stewardship matters as much as fruitfulness.

1Ti 5:8  And if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the belief and is worse than an unbeliever.

Pro 27:23-27

Know well the state of your flocks; Set your heart to your herds;
For riches are not forever, Nor a diadem to all generations. Grass vanishes, and new grass appears, And the vegetation of the mountains is gathered in. The lambs are for your garments, And the goats for the price of a field; And goats’ milk enough for your food, For the food of your household, And sustenance for your girls.

Sometimes we HIDE the talent not out of fear, but out of over-protection. We keep children locked inside, glued to screens, never allowed to get dirty, explore the trees, chase bugs, or marvel at the sky and wind.

Yet…YAH’s CREATION IS ONE OF HIS GREATEST TEACHERS!

Let us give our children room to play with rocks and sticks, dig in the sand and dirt, learn the plants, birds, and creatures around them. Real outdoor play builds strong bodies, curious minds, and hearts that naturally praise the Creator.

Our high calling is to raise them, guide them, and discipline them in the ways of YAH:

Deu 6:6-7 “And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart,
and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up,

Eph 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children, but bring them up in the instruction and admonition of the Master.

1Ti 5:8  And if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the belief and is worse than an unbeliever.

Discipline them with patience and purpose so they grow straight and strong in righteousness:

Pro 13:24  He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him, seeks him with discipline.

Pro 22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he turns not away from it.

Heb 12:11  And indeed, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

It is not enough to simply bring them into the world. We are called to steward their lives with diligence… nurturing their spirits, minds, and bodies in the rich soil of the world YAH made, so they become fruitful for the Kingdom. The Master is watching to see how faithfully we tend what He has placed in our hands.

Whether we have been blessed with many children or few, the question remains the same:

Are we being good and faithful servants with what YAH has entrusted to us?

Let us pray for wisdom, strength, and grace as we raise the next generation for His glory. May our children grow up to call us blessed and to walk in the ways of YAHUAH and Yahusha HaMashiach all their days. 🙌🕊️

What a high and holy calling we have been given!

On The First Day Of The Week - Word Study!

Shalom and welcome to Ask Seek and Knock. Today's focus is on a Word Study. First, We would like for you to know, that we do have a study based on Acts 20:7, which we highly recommend you watch. Titled: "Did They Really Meet On The First Day Of The Week?". Today's study will begin with Acts 20:7 but, expands to other portions of scripture as well, and is Titled: "On The First Day of the Week - Word Study" That being said,

lets get started with our first scripture Acts 20:7, and we will focus on the phrase: "On The First Day Of The Week".

  • Acts 20:7 [KJV]
  • And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Christians, and Christian Pastors, Evangelists, and the like, have told me that this verse is why the Christians in all of Christianity keep a Sunday Sabbath. Is this really what this scripture is telling us to do? Also, does Acts 20:7 Really say And upon the first day of the week”? Let’s look up the word, "Week", in the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance:

  • Strong's Exhaustive Concordance: G4521
  • 4521 σάββατον [SA/BBATON] {sábbaton} \sab'-bat-on\
  • of Hebrew origin (07676); the Sabbath (i.e. Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension, a se'nnight, i.e. the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications:--sabbath (day), week.

First, I want to explain to you how these dictionaries work. the word in it's language will be listed, to include pronunciation; then the origin or etymology; then the definition; followed by its usage, and in our case, the usage in the English translation being analyzed. Let's go to the NASB Greek Lexicon, for an example:

  • Strongs: G4521 [NASB Lexicon]
    σάββατον \sabbaton\
    Etymology: of Hebrew origin H7676
Definition: the Sabbath, e. the seventh day (of the week)
    Usage: Sabbath(58), Sabbaths(1), week(9).

Please notice the "Definition" of the word σάββατον [sabbaton]. It is indeed, the Sabbath, the seventh day (of the week). NOT the 1st day of the week. Please also notice that the word "week", was also used 9 times in the place of the word Sabbath. What you need to know here is this; the word "sabbath" does not translate to the word "week". The word "σάββατον \sabbaton\", only translates to the English word Sabbath or the plural word Sabbaths. So when we see that the word Sabbath was replaced with the word "week", nine times, as indicated in the NASB Greek Lexicon. There is a real problem; as the greek word σάββατον [sabbaton which is from Hebrew origin, H7676, only translates to Sabbath. Let's go to the word in question, and see.

  • [Sabbath]
  •  Strongs: H7676
  • תבָּשַׁ
  • \shabbath\ (bdb:992a)
  • Etymology: from H7673a
  • Definition: sabbath
  • Usage: every sabbath(2), sabbath(73), sabbaths(32).

Nowhere, are we told in the Hebrew, that this word "Shabbath" even remotely translates to the word, "week". What really needs to be known here is this; the same people that put together your 66 book canon, also put together your dictionaries and lexicons. It is highly possible, that many of them do not have Elohim's best interest at heart. Yah is not the author of confusion. They have their own agenda, which indeed may not line up with the true interpretation of the word in question. Before we continue, lets get a witness to this fact by reading 1 Enoch 104:10-13, and I know this may sound like a broken record, but these things must be known in order for us to overcome.

  • 1 Enoch 104:10-13
  • 10 And now I know this mystery, that sinners will change and pervert the Words of righteousness in many ways, and will speak wicked words, and lie, and practice great deceits, and write books concerning their words.
11 But when they write down truthfully all my words in their languages, and do not change or diminish ought from my words but write them all down truthfully - all that I first witnessed concerning them.
12 Then, I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and the wise to become a cause of joy and uprightness and much wisdom.
13 “And to them shall the books be given, and they shall believe in them and rejoice over them, and then all the righteous who have learned from them - all the paths of uprightness - shall be recompensed.”

At this point in time, these books are not here and do not yet exist for us. So all we can do is interpret the words the best we can, with the materials we have. The problem right now is, the same people that have given us our translations of the scriptures, also gave us our dictionaries. Like we said last week, Prayer, Fasting, and Research will be required to find any kind of truth. We believe at this time, that the books that will be given out that have no lies or mistranslated words and phrases in them, will be during the millennial reign of our Messiah.

Now, Armed with what we now know, it should be clear, even with the Strong’s Concordance, that "Week", really interprets to Sabbath, and with this in mind, there is also, no such thing as a Sunday Sabbath. I know there are those in other circles that say "I am aware of that" and just ignore the facts and go with what is written in their KJV Bible, but the facts are just that, facts. We have been deceived, and Acts 20:7 should really read like it does here in the Yah Scriptures:

  • Acts 20:7 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 7 And on one of the shabbathoth, the talmidim having gathered together to break bread, Sha’ul, intending to depart the next day, was reasoning with them and was extending the Word till midnight.

With this particular scripture, the Yah Scriptures seems to line up well with our finding that the word week really means  sabbath.. Now, lets continue with the study and move on to the next scripture, that being; I Corinthians 16:2

  • I Corinthians 16:2 [KJV]
  • 2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Let’s break this down to see if this is the case. Lets take a look at two words that actually have Strong’s Numbers on them; looking at the phrase “Upon the first day of the week”. Let’s start with the word “first”, and while we are at it, lets look at how the Strong’s numbers are laid out in 1 Corinthians 16:2. So again, we will look at the words First and Week. also notice, the word DAY is italicized, indicating an insertion.

Alright, lets start with the word 'first".

let's first look at the NASB Lexicon:

  • [first as it appears in 1 Corinthians 16:2 KJVA]
  • Strongs: G1520
  • εἷς \heis\ (masc.) or μία \mia\ (fem.) or ἕν \hen\ (neut.)
  • Etymology: a prim. number
  • Definition: one
  • Usage: agreement(1), alike*(1), alone(3), common(1), detail(1), first(9), individual(2), individually*(1), lone(1), man(1), nothing*(1), one(282), one another(1), one man(2), one thing(5), one*(2), person(1), single(1), smallest(1), someone(2), thirty-nine*(1), unity(1).
Lets also look at the "Strongs Real Greek" Dictionary.
  • ["first", as it appears in 1 Corinthians 16:2 KJVA]
  • [*StrongsRealGreek*]
  • 1520 εἷς [EI(=S] {heîs} \hice\
  • (including the neuter (etc.) hen); a primary numeral; one:--a(-n, -ny, certain), + abundantly, man, one (another), only, other, some. See also 1527, 3367, 3391, 3762.

As we can see above, using both the NASB Lexicon and the Strongs Real Greek Dictionary that the word, "first" means the word "one".

Now let’s take a look at the word “Week”.

  • ["week", as it appears in 1 Corinthians 16:2 KJVA]
  • [*StrongsRealGreek*]
  • 4521 σάββατον [SA/BBATON] {sábbaton} \sab'-bat-on\
  • of Hebrew origin (07676); the Sabbath (i.e. Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension, a se'nnight, i.e. the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications:--sabbath (day), week.

Please note that "Sabbath", again, does not translate to "week" in any way, shape, or form, and yet, here we are again, with the word week. We have run into this blunder so many times in the past. Those of you that have known us for a while may remember the study Moon? or Month? (Updated). if you are not familiar with it, I highly recommend you watch it, as it will enlighten you concerning the word "chodesh", and since we have an entire study on that word, we will refer you to that study for the word "chodesh". Continuing... as result of what we have learned thus far, concerning the phrase "upon the first day of the week", vs. "upon one sabbath day", the following is how 1 Corinthians 16:2 should be phrased:

  • I Corinthians 16:2:
  • Upon one sabbath day let every one of you lay by him in store, as Elohim hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

To understand more about what Paul is talking about here in 1 Corinthians, it would be wise to understand some well regarded secrets that have been kept from you by those that have chosen which books you should, and should not read. The book in question is, a book known as "The Order Of The Ancients", which is also known as "The Writings Of  Ĕliyahu", or Elijah. This book was also found in the dead sea scrolls, and is also known as "The Community Rule", or "Charter of a Jewish Sectarian Association". We are not going to get into that today, as this study is just focused on words that have been changed  by those that do not have our best interest at heart, however, we highly recommend that you read the "Writings of Elijah", found in the Yah Scriptures.  Lets look at another phrase which changed the word Sabbath to Week. This one is very important and should not be ignored. John 20:1.

  • John 20:1:
  • 1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Is this really what John 20:1 is telling us? Lets find out.

We are going to look at the words "the", "first", and "week", Strong’s Numbers that are in the opening phrase of John 20:1.

Let's go ahead and take a look at "The"

  • [the]
  • [*StrongsRealGreek*]
  • 1161 δέ [DE/] {dé} \deh\
  • a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.:--also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).
  • the = also, and, but, moreover, now

Next we will look at the wordfirst”.

  • [first]
  • [*StrongsRealGreek*]
  • 1520 εἷς [EI(=S] {heîs} \hice\
  • (including the neuter (etc.) hen); a primary numeral; one:--a(-n, -ny, certain), + abundantly, man, one (another), only, other, some. See also 1527, 3367, 3391, 3762.
  • The word "first" translates to "one".

And the next word is again, “week.

  • [week]
  • [*StrongsRealGreek*]
  • 4521 σάββατον [SA/BBATON] {sábbaton} \sab'-bat-on\
  • of Hebrew origin (07676); the Sabbath (i.e. Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension, a se'nnight, i.e. the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications:--sabbath (day), week.
  • The word "week" Translates to "sabbath".

Again,  σάββατον [sábbaton] means Sabbath or Sabbaths only. it does not mean week. John 20:1, can read like this;

  • John 20:1:
  • Also one sabbath day cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

There are several ways this phrase can be worded, but it was for sure sometime during the Sabbath, and not on the first day of the week. lets take a look at the Jubilee 2000 version.

  •  John 20:1 [Jubilee 2000]
  • The first of the sabbaths, Mary Magdalene came early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre and saw the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

This is a more accurate translation. Now you know upon which day our Messiah was truly raised, and it was not on the first day of the week. Again, this is a topic for another day, but WOW what a study that will be. Alright, Lets move to the next scripture.

Lets stay in John Chapter 20 just for a moment and move on down to verse 19

  • John 20:19 [World English Bible]
  • When therefore it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle and said to them, “Peace be to you.”

This very same issue is all over the scripture. Let's just cut out the dictionary this time and move right to the "Yah Scriptures" version.

  • John 20:19 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 19 When therefore it was evening on that day, one of the shabbathoth, and when the doors were shut where the talmidim met, for fear of the Yahuḏim, Yahusha came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace to you.”

Now, while there are many issues with ALL Masoretic texts, this particular version lays it out with a much more accurate detail. The Christian Collegiate world, along with Judaism seems to be all about hiding the truth of all things scripture. Now, with that being said, lets move to a scripture that most churches proclaim, points to a Sunday, or the first day of the week, being the Sabbath. Are you ready for this one? Revelation 1:10.

  • Revelation of John 1:10 [KJVA]
  • I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

This Scripture Begs the Question; is this talking about the first day of the week as being the Sabbath? Is it? first lets break down the opening phrase to check it for accuracy. We will look at 'the Lord's Day". in the NASB Strongs. First, lets look at the word "the".

  • ["the" as it is in Revelation 1:10][NASB Lexicon]
  • Strongs: G2250
    ἡμέρα \hēmera\
    Etymology: a prim. word
    Definition: day
    Usage: always*(1), court(1), daily*(10), day(207), day's(1), day...another(1), daybreak(1), days(148), daytime(2), midday*(1), time(12), years(4).

Alright, that's odd. so, this word is actually translates to "day" and not 'the". Now I am wondering if this word is really in the scripture at all, or is it an insertion. Keeping this in mind, let's keep moving forward. Now to the word "Lord's".

  • ["Lord's", as it is in the KJVA]&[NASB Lexicon]
  • Strongs: G2960
  • κυριακός \kuriakos\
  • Etymology: from G2962
  • Definition: of the Lord
  • Usage: Lord's(2).

The first thing we need to understand at this point is; the word "Lord" is a mistranslated name of our Elohim; that being: Yahuah, or Yehovah, or Yahweh. For sure, Yah's name is not Lord. Nor is the Messiah's name Lord. this name has been mistranslated 7913 times in your KJV canon

Continuing on, the next word is "Day

["day" as it is in Revelation 1:10]
Strongs: G2250
ἡμέρα \hēmera\
Etymology: a prim. word
Definition: day
Usage: always*(1), court(1), daily*(10), day(207), day's(1), day...another(1), daybreak(1), days(148), daytime(2), midday*(1), time(12), years(4).

The word "day" translates to the word "day".,

With the research we have just done, here is what Revelation 1:10 should say.

  • Revelation 1:10
  • 10 I came to be in the Ruaḥ on the Day of Yahuah, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,

Alright, now, we are going to need to find out what "Yah’s Day' (The day of the Lord) is, by going to Exodus 20:8-11.

  • Exodus 20:8-11
  • 8 “Remember the Shabbath day, to qadosh it.
  • 9 “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work,
  • 10 but the seventh day is a Shabbath of Yahuah your Elohim. You do not do any work - you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
  • 11 “For in six days Yahuah made the shamayim and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yahuah baraḵ the Shabbath day and qadosh it.

So, looking back at Revelation of John 1:10, is it saying that the first day of the week is the Sabbath? I don’t think so. This scripture is stating clearly that the 7th day is the Sabbath or Yah’s Day. Yah Blessed this day and made it Holy. The Seventh Day. What else does Yah tell us about the 7th day? Lets go to Exodus 31:12-17 to see exactly what the Sabbath is for us.

  • Exodus 31:12-17
  • 12 And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
  • 13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Shabbathoth you are to guard, by all means, for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, Yahuah, qadosh you.
  • 14 ‘And you shall guard the Shabbath, for it is qodesh to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.
  • 15 ‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Shabbath of rest, qodesh to Yahuah. Everyone doing work on the Shabbath day shall certainly be put to death.
  • 16 ‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Shabbath, to perform the Shabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting Covenant.
  • 17 ‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days Yahuah made the shamayim and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”

What day is the Sabbath? The Seventh Day. Another thing, truly, this scripture is telling us that those that keep the Sabbath are Marked for Yah. So, what is “The Lord’s Day” or Yahuah’s Day? It Is The Sabbath. The 7th day. There are many more scriptures that say the exact same thing, Here is a complete list of the word "week", which was wrongfully in the place of "sabbath", in the New Testament, for you to check out for yourselves.

  1. Matthew 28:1 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  2. Mark 16:2 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  3. Mark 16:9 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  4. Luke 18:12 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  5. Luke 24:1 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  6. John 20:1 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  7. John 20:19 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  8. Acts 20:7 (Week in place of Sabbath)
  9. 1 Corinthians 16:2 (Week in place of Sabbath)

Observing the list above, I think you get the picture. Remember, don’t take my word for it, do your own research. Test it for yourself, You will be glad you did.

"Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I (Yahuah Elohim), heal them".

This study is an appeal to the one that has walked away from Yah.  First of all, many are not firmly rooted in Yahuah Elohim and Yahusha Mes...
