How to Overcome, Part 9-A, "In The Seventh Week"

Shabbat Shalom, and Welcome to "Ask Seek and Knock", In Today's Study, we will continue with the Testament of the 12 Patriarch's, The Book of Levi, 17:10-11, and the Title of Today's Study is: How to Overcome, Part 9-A - Sub Titled: "In The Seventh Week". Today, we need to let you know that some material is of an adult nature, and may not be suitable for children, so be cautious if you have children in the room. Lets read Levi, 17:10-11, and get started.

• Levi, 17:10-11
• 10 And in the fifth week they shall return to the land of their desolation, and shall restore anew the House of Yahuah
• 11 In the seventh week there will come kohenim [priests]; idolaters, adulterers, money lovers, arrogant, Torahless, voluptuaries, pederasts, those who practice bestiality.

Back in the time of Ezra, the House of Yahuah was indeed restored. It did not last long, and even before Yahusha's time on earth, the House of Yah was corrupted and the priesthood was no longer legitimate. Only the Zadok priestly line was still in tact, but not in Jerusalem, as the Zadok Priestly Line was actually exiled in the wilderness, in Qumran. If it was not for the Zadok priestly line, we would not have the Dead Sea Scrolls to compare and correct the 10th century Masoretic text that is being used today. As we have studied the Dead Sea Scrolls, we have discovered many truths that were vague at best before reading the DSS. The last 3 years of this ministry has been shaped by many witnesses that exist between the DSS and other scripture that we use on a regular basis. Here is a link to our archives. Alright, with all of this in mind, Let's get a witness from Scripture, describing the restoration of Scripture, in: 2 Esdras 14:37-48.

• 2 Esdras 14:37-48
• 37 So I took the five men, as He commanded me, and we went to the field, and remained there.
• 38 And the next day, see, a voice called to me saying, “Ezra, open your mouth and drink what I give you to drink.”
• 39 Then I opened my mouth, and see, he brought me a cup, which was full of water, but the colour of it was like fire.
• 40 And I took it, and drank; and when I had drunk from it, my heart spoke with understanding, and wisdom grew in my breast, for the remembrance in my spirit was strengthened;
• 41 and my mouth was opened, and no longer closed.
• 42 And the Most High gave understanding to the five men, and they wrote the extraordinary night visions that were related, which they did not know; and they sat forty days, and wrote in the day, and ate their bread at night. 
• 43 As for me; I spoke during the day, and did not keep silent by night.
  44 In forty days they wrote two hundred and four books.
• 45 And it came to be, when the forty days were complete, that the Most High spoke, saying, “The first that you have written publish openly, that the worthy and unworthy may read it;
• 46 but guard the seventy last, that you may deliver them only to those who are wise among the people;
• 47 for in them is the spring of understanding, the fountain of wisdom, and the river of knowledge.”
• 48 And I did so. 

2 Esdras is so important concerning the topic of How and When the Scripture was restored. for most of my life, I had no idea how it was restored, or where the Scripture came from that we read in our Bibles today; especially since all I knew, is that it was destroyed when Jerusalem was taken captive, when the house of Judah, and half the tribe of Benjamin were taken into captivity. Further more, Levite's were in Jerusalem at that time as well. With all of this information, I feel the need to remind you that while the Levite's did go astray, not all of them went astray, the sons of Zadok never went astray, as we see in Ezekiel 48:11:

• Ezekiel 48:11
• 11 for the kohenim of the sons of Tsaḏoq, who are qodesh [set-apart or holy], who guarded My Charge, who did not go astray when the children of Yisra’ĕl went astray, as the Lĕwites went astray.

As we see in Ezekiel 48:11, it is clear that the sons of Zadok [Tsadoq] did not go astray, and kept Yah's Way. Oh, and before we move forward, I want to remind you that the Prophet/Priest, Ezra, was also from the Zadokite Priestly Line. You can find this fact in 2 Esdras, 1:1, which clearly states:

• 2 Esdras, 1:1
• 1 The second book of the naḇi [prophet] Ezra son of Serayah, son of Azaryah, son of Ḥilqiyah, son of Shallum, son of Tsaḏoq, son of Aḥituḇ, 

The Prophet and Priest, Ezra, is indeed related the high priest, Zadok [Tsadoq].

So lets continue, Ezra was indeed used of Yahuah to bring all Scripture back to the people returning from captivity. Without this act, all knowledge of Scripture would be lost, especially for us today. Did things stay that way? Did those coming back from captivity keep the Word close to them, and not sway from it? No. And again we say, if it was not for the Zadok Priestly line, hiding the library of Scripture in caves, you and I would not have any way to proof today's 10th Century "Authorized" (Whatever that means, Control, Perhaps?), Masoretic Text. Do you think the people that "authorized "the 66 book canon have your best interest in heart? I'll hope that you ponder that question as we move on. 

Next, Lets go to Levi 17:11 to break it down. First, lets read it in from "The Complete 100 book Apocrypha: Expanded 2024 Edition with Deuterocanon". In this version Levi 17:11 is Levi 17:10.

• Levi 17:10 ["The Complete 100 book Apocrypha"]
• 10 And in the seventh week they will become priests, [who are] idolaters, adulterers, lovers of money, proud, lawless, lascivious, abusers of children and beasts.”

This tiny little verse opens up a really big can of worms. Lets go to Matthew Chapter 23, and discover what our Messiah thinks about the religious leaders that are even likened to the religious leaders of this very day we live in. I mean, it's no secret. Messiah Yahusha tells us in Matthew 23, and leaves no doubt.

• Matthew 23:1-3 [Yah Scriptures]
• 1 Then Yahusha spoke to the crowds and to His talmidim,
• 2 saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh.
• 3 “Therefore, whatever he says to you to guard, guard and do. But do not do  according to their works, for they say, and do not do. 

This sets the tone for the entire chapter, that is, Matthew 23. Yahusha has told us plain and simple, The Religious leaders of that day were Law Breakers, NOT Law Keepers. Remember that, the next time someone lashes out at you and calls you a "pharisee" for keeping the Torah of our Elohim. Need more proof? Lets slide down to Matthew 23:27-28:

• Matthew 23:27-28
• 27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed look well, but inside are filled with dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.
• 28 “So you too outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.

It is very clear to see that Yahusha is telling us that the scribes and pharisees are NOT law keepers. NO no! Yahusha Messiah is telling us that the pharisees are Law Breakers, and again, not Law Keepers.  

 

Alright, I have a question, Today, are our religious leaders telling us to keep Way of Yahuah? Are they telling us to Keep the Torah, the Law, the Sabbath, the Feast Days, Festivals, and Yah's Statutes? No, they are not. Please ponder that thought as we move on.

 

Moving on to Levi 17:10 "Idolaters", or idolatry".

• 10 And in the seventh week they will become priests, [who are] idolaters, adulterers, lovers of money, proud, lawless, lascivious, abusers of children and beasts.”

Alright, let's focus on the word Idolaters. Let's look up the word "idolater", in the MLStrong Intermediate Greek Lexicon.

• Strongs: G1496 [idolater]
• 1496 εἰδωλολάτρης *n λάτρις  0 an idol-worshipper, idolater, NTest. 

That is very strait forward, someone that worships idols. Someone that Follows False Gods. Yahuah Elohim Defines this in the book of Exodus, Chapter 20, and tells us how to deal with them in Deuteronomy 13. First lets go to Exodus 20:1-6:

• Exodus 20:1-6
• 1 And Elohim spoke all these Words, saying,
• 2 “I am Yahuah your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery.
• 3 “You have no other mighty ones against My face.
• 4 “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the shamayim above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the
  waters under the earth,
• 5 you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, Yahuah your Elohim, am a jealous Ĕl, visiting the wickedness of the fathers on the children to the third
  and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
• 6 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My Commands.

Okay, now that we an understanding of what an idol is, how did Yah instruct us to treat those that idolize false gods? Let's go to Deuteronomy 13:

• Deuteronomy 13:  
• 1 “When there arises among you a naḇi [prophet] or a dreamer of dreams, and he shall give you a sign or a wonder,
• 2 and the sign or the wonder shall come true, of which he has spoken to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other mighty ones - which you have not known - and serve them,’
• 3 do not listen to the words of that naḇi or that dreamer of dreams, for Yahuah your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.
• 4 “Walk after Yahuah your Elohim and revere Him, and guard His Commands and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him.
• 5 “And that naḇi or that dreamer of dreams is put to death, because he has spoken apostasy against Yahuah your Elohim - who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim and redeemed you from the house of bondage - to make you stray from the Way in which Yahuah your Elohim commanded you to walk. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. 

Alright, Deuteronomy 13 is very clear as to Yahuah's Instructions on how to deal with those that intentionally lead others astray or away from following Yahuah, and our Messiah, to following False gods. Keep in mind, there are laws that are impossible to keep at this present time, as there is no high priest here at present, and that is because our high priest, Yahusha Messiah, is in the Heavens, and only upon His return will the Laws in question be able to be enforced. Do we toss Deuteronomy 13 out because of this. No, Deuteronomy 13:3 tells us not to listen to false prophets, and that Yah is testing us to see if we truly Love Him. Those that Love Him, which means, those that keep His commands, will walk away from the evil ones that are leading people astray. Yah will do the rest. Just as Mosheh told his people to do nothing, just as Yah was about to let the waters fall back on the army pursuing them while in the desert. Exodus 14:13-14.

• 13 And Mosheh said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the deliverance of Yahuah, which He does for you today. For the Mitsrites whom you see today, you are never, never to see again.
• 14 “Yahuah fights for you, and you keep silent.” 

Today, you and I have the Set-Apart Spirit of Truth that will guide us with Wisdom, and Endurance, to turn our backs and walk away from evil, and Yahuah Elohim, will do the rest. 

Lets move to the next description in question in Levi 17:10 (11).

Alright, lets look up the word "adultery".

  Definition: to commit adultery
  Usage: adulterer(3), adulterers(5), adulteress(3), adulteresses(2), adulteries(1), adulterous(1), adultery(1), commit adultery(6), commits adultery(3), committed adultery(5), committing of adultery(1).

Let's also look this term up in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

• : voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than that person's current spouse
• also : an act of adultery

Both Adultery, and Idolatry are terms that lead to the same thing. Divorce. Idolatry is considered a form of Spiritual Adultery, which indeed led to Yahuah our Elohim Divorcing the Northern Tribes, and sifting them among the nations, just as Adultery is the physical act of infidelity to one's spouse, which leads to divorce as well. One can indeed argue that if the spouse of an Elohim fearing person, willingly, knowingly, purposefully, commits idolatry with false gods, idols, without repentance, Deuteronomy 13 would be a good grounds for divorce between those two people. Especially when considering, our Elohim had to do the same, when the northern tribes Refused to Repent. 

Moving on to the next description in Levi 17:10 (11).

• Levi 17:10 ["The Complete 100 book Apocrypha"]
• 10 And in the seventh week they will become priests, [who are] idolaters, adulterers, lovers of money, proud, lawless, lascivious, abusers of children and beasts.”  

Lovers of Money. The first thing that comes to mind on this topic is 1 Timothy 6:9-10, but in an effort to support the previous topic of adultery, which led to Deuteronomy 13, lets backup to 1 Timothy 6 verse 3, and get even a bigger picture.

• 1 Timothy 6:3-10 [Yah Scriptures] 
• 3 If anyone teaches differently and does not agree to the sound words, those of our Aḏon Yahusha ha’Mashiaḥ, and to the teaching which is according to reverence,
• 4 he is puffed up, understanding naught, but is sick about questionings and verbal battles from which come envy, strife, slander, wicked suspicions,
• 5 worthless disputes of men of corrupt minds and deprived of the truth, who think that reverence is a means of gain - withdraw from such.

WOW, I would call 1 Timothy 6:3-10, "Paul's (Sha'ul's), Deuteronomy 13 Test". don't you think? Now, lets get back to "Lovers of Money", and continue with 1 Timothy 6:6-10.

• 6 But reverence with contentment is great gain.
• 7 For we brought naught into the world, and it is impossible to take any out.
• 8 When we have food and covering, we shall be satisfied with these.
• 9 But those wanting to be rich fall into trial and a snare, and into many foolish and injurious lusts which plunge men in ruin and destruction.
• 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some, by longing for it, have strayed from the belief, and pierced themselves through with many pains. 

This topic brings Scripture to mind that I would like to share. One way to be sure of ones ambitions, when one wanted to be in the Yahad [Assembly], in Qumran, with the Zadok Priests, we find in the writings of Eliyahu, or Elijah, also known as the Community Rule, in the Dead Sea Scrolls, what one would need to do, in order to belong to the Order of Enoch, to prove one was not lustful of money or property, or goods, one would give his private ownership up to the Yahad [community]. Lets go to the Writings of Eliyahu [Eligah] 2, where Elijah gave Elisha a Book of the Order, so that Elisha would govern this Order.

• Writings of Eliyahu [Eligah] 2 [Yah Scriptures] 
• 1 Therefore, my son Elisha, I leave for thee this Book of the Order by which thou mayest govern the Order of Ḥanoḵ, for I have organized and governed this Order according to the revelations of Yahuah to me and under the direction of his Ruaḥ ha’Qodesh I give thee these instructions.
• 2 Everyone who desireth to enter the Order of Ḥanoḵ must be one who loveth Yahuah his Elohim with all his heart, might, mind and strength and one who loveth his fellowman as himself, according to the word of Yahuah through Mosheh.

Does any of this sound familiar so far? Or, have you heard anything like this before? Eliyahu 2:2 is speaking of Love. So before reading on, lets take a look at what Love really means, which is a complete witness to the Writings of Eliyahu 2:2, that being 1 John 5:2-3, which states:

• 1 John 5:2-3
• 2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Yahuah and guard His Commands.
• 3 For this is the love for Yahuah, that we guard His Commands, and His Commands are not heavy,

1 John 5:2-3 is a very clear witness to requirements of being in the Yahad. For the love of money can lead to selfish ambitions, lets keep reading to see just exactly what we are talking about.

• Writings of Eliyahu [Eligah] 2:3-4 [Yah Scriptures] 
• 3 He must covenant to live the Torah of consecration and to hold all things common with his brethren according to the pattern set by our First Parents, for when they came forth from the garden they divided not up the land but held it in common until their posterity through wickedness began to lay claim to it for themselves. 
•  4 Behold, this private ownership of the property came to pass through the teachings of that evil combination which was organized by Qayin [Cain] that men might get gain for themselves because the love of Elohim and man is not in them. 

Did you hear and understand that? So what does this mean? Consider this, Just as Lot's Wife Turned Back to her desires not to loose all that she had gained in life, She indeed Lost Her Life. The reason Yahusha told us it is easier for a rich man to go through the eye of the needle, it is because it is hard to give up ones riches when you have toiled your whole life to get rich in the first place. Matthew 19, and we come in where the Young Rich man was telling Yahusha that he kept the commands not to Murder, or to Commit Adultery, or to steal, or Lie, to Respect Mother and Father as ones self. We'll pick up at Matthew 19:19:

• Matthew 19:19-26 [Yah Scriptures]
• 19 ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ ”
• 20 The young man said to Him, “All these I have watched over from my youth, what do I still lack?”
• 21 Yahusha said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in the shamayim. And come, follow Me.”
• 22 And when the young man heard the word, he went away sad, because he had many possessions.
• 23 And Yahusha said to His talmidim, “Truly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter into the reign of the shamayim.
• 24 “And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the reign of Elohim.”
• 25 And when His talmidim heard it, they were very astonished, saying, “Who then is able to be saved?”
• 26 And looking intently Yahusha said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with Elohim all is possible.”

This Scripture is a direct witness to Writings of Elijah, which we read just a moment ago. Yahusha even puts it in another way when he is talking about body parts of one, that makes one sin, in Matthew 18:7-9  

• Matthew 18:7-9 
• 7 “Woe to the world because of stumbling-blocks! For it is necessary that stumbling-blocks come, but woe to that man by whom the stumbling-block comes
• 8 “And if your hand or foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be thrown into the everlasting fire.
• 9 “And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be thrown into the fire of Gĕy-Hinnom. 

The truth be told, In order to overcome, ALL of us will run into Stumbling Blocks, because ALL of us have dead branches that must go. According to John 15:5-6, Yahusha our High Priest, and Messiah, tells us this:

• John 15:5-6
• 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who stays in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit. Because without Me you are able to do naught!
• 6 “If anyone does not stay in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up. And they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

In order to bare fruit, we need to stay in Yahusha and Him in us. The Rich Man's money became a Stumbling Block that he was not able to overcome. We Need to be able to Just Walk Away from All Things in This World. If one cannot, it will be a Stumbling Block that may Overcome You. Messiah gave us a way to be in him and him in us. Lets go to Matthew 11:28-30:

• Matthew 11:28-30
• 28 “Come to Me, all you who labour and are burdened, and I shall give you rest.
• 29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beings.
• 30 “For My yoke is gentle and My burden is light.” 

So, how do we overcome? Yahusha Messiah's Yoke is gentile and His burden is Light. This is the way to overcome any and all stumbling blocks. It enables the righteous man to get up and keep moving when he falls.

How to Overcome - Part 8-B The pollution of the devil, and how to combat it!

Shabbat Shalom and Welcome to Ask Seek and Knock. Today we will continue with How to Overcome - Part 8-B,  The pollution of the devil, and how to combat it!", which is right where we left off last time we met, Levi Chapter 17, Lets read it again to refresh our memories from when we last met.

• Levi Chapter 17 [Yah Scriptures]
• 1 Because you have heard about the seventy weeks, listen also concerning the kehunnah [priesthood].
• 2 In each Yoḇĕl [Jubilee] there shall be a kehunnah: In the first Yoḇĕl the first person to be anointed to the kehunnah will be great, and he shall speak to Elohim as father; and his kehunnah shall be fully satisfactory to Yahuah, and in the days of his joy, he shall rise up for the deliverance of the world. 
• 3 In the second Yoḇĕl the anointed one shall be conceived in sorrow of the beloved one, and his kehunnah shall be praised and shall be glorified by all.
• 4 The third kohĕn [priest] shall be overtaken by grief, and, 
• 5 the fourth kehunnah shall be with sufferings, because injustice shall be imposed upon him in a high degree, and all Yisra’ĕl shall hate each one his neighbor.
• 6 The fifth shall be overcome by darkness;
• 7 Likewise the sixth and the seventh.
• 8 In the seventh there shall be pollution such as I am unable to declare in the presence of human beings, because only the ones who do these things 
  understand such matters..
• 9 Therefore they shall be in captivity and will be preyed upon; both their land and their possessions shall be stolen.
• 10 And in the fifth week they shall return to the land of their desolation, and shall restore anew the House of Yahuah
• 11 In the seventh week there will come kohenim [priests]; idolaters, adulterers, money lovers, arrogant, Torahless, voluptuaries, pederasts, those who practice bestiality.

Wow, alright, this is a lot to take in, but first, I have a question concerning the kahunneh, or priesthood: Is there a legitimate kahunneh [priesthood] today? I ask because, our high priest is Yahusha Messiah, and He is in the heavens right now, so the answer is NO. There is no legitimate priesthood on earth today. In fact, in the day that our Messiah was here, the priesthood was also not legitimate. If it was, the Zadok Priestly line would not have been exiled in Qumran where they were when Yahusha Messiah was here, and John the Baptist, would have also been a legitimate part of the priesthood as well because of His bloodline, and yet he was not, in fact, John was a voice crying in the wilderness, was he not? 

• John 1:23 
• 23 He said, “I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of Yahuah [Master],’ as the naḇi [prophet] Yeshayahu [Isaiah] said.” 
• [Referencing Isaiah 40:3] 

In fact, Both John and also Paul, were associated with the priests in Qumran (evidenced in the dead sea scrolls, and this would be a study unto its self). With this in mind, lets turn our attension to the Zadok Priestly line, and ask; What does Yah think of the Zadok Priestly line? Let's find out. YEḤEZQĔL [Ezekiel] 48:11. 

•  YEḤEZQĔL [Ezekiel] 48:11
• 11 for the kohenim of the sons of Tsaḏoq, who are qodesh, who guarded My Charge, who did not go astray when the children of Yisra’ĕl went astray, as
  the Lĕwites went astray.

Did you hear that? Who did not go astray? Clearly, the Zadok Priestly line did not go astray, as did the rest of the Levites and as did all of Israel. 

Now concerning the timeline, we are not planning on going over the timeline today, as that is not our goal with today's study. Today, we are going to focus on Levi 17:8-9, which we will go ahead and repeat now.

• Levi 17:8-9 [Yah Scriptures]   
• 8 In the seventh there shall be pollution such as I am unable to declare in the presence of human beings, because only the ones who do these things understand such matters..
• 9 Therefore they shall be in captivity and will be preyed upon; both their land and their possessions shall be stolen.

Let's discuss the word's "pollution", "captivity", "land", and "possessions being stolen". First, "captivity"; we believe that the children of Yah have been sifted among the nations, and today, we are indeed in captivity. Your Home's, your Cars, your Boats, your Property, your Businesses, and so on, are all unlawfully taxed. None of what you think you own, is yours. Do you remember Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, who told the citizens of earth, "You Will Own Nothing, and be Happy", well, I don't know about the happy part, but we are already on the path to owning Nothing. Now, don't get me wrong, when you understand the Yahad as discussed in the DSS "Community Rule". To be a member of the Yahad, one would give all of his possessions to the Yahad, and it is there for whenever needed for the good of the Yahad, as this is what was practiced in Yahad, and the heavens. There is even evidence in the Scripture of this being practiced by Paul and those in his ministry.  (again, a study for another time, but read "Acts 5", and "Charter of a Jewish Sectarian Association, in the Wise Abegg and Cook, DSS",  to understand more). The point being, when the kingdom is here with us, I for one, will be so happy to own nothing, because all of your needs will be met, and our inheritance is to be with Father Yah and our Messiah in Paradise, per Luke 23:43: Even when our High Priest, Yahusha, Messiah, was on the stake, Yahusha Messiah told amazing Revelations. He was and is spotless, and never once did He lie. We believe Everything He Said, so what did He say?

• Luke 23:43
• 43 And Yahusha said to him, “Truly, I say to you today, you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

The point I am trying to make is this; for everything good, there is a counterfeit. We will give examples. There is no need to own anything in the kingdom, as the whole city is our inheritance, that is, so long as we endure to the end in this life as we know it; in the better life to come, ALL your needs will be fulfilled. All of them, forever, and ever. Amen. The hard part, is getting to that place, as this life we now live is indeed the narrow path, full of dangers and very hard to pass. just as explained in 2 Esdras 7:6-9, which states:

• 2 Esdras 7:6-9 [Yah Scriptures]
• 6 “There is also another example: a city is built, and put on a broad field, and is filled with all good.
• 7 “Its entrance is narrow, and is put in a dangerous place to fall, so there is a fire on the right hand, and a deep moat on the left,
• 8 and only one path between them both, even between the fire and the water, so narrow that only one man could go through at once.
• 9 “If this city now were given to a man as an inheritance, if he should never pass the danger placed before it, how shall he receive this inheritance?”

That Great City which is being spoken of is indeed Tsiyon. We spoke of her before, and we say her, because she is described in various places within Scripture. Let's just get a couple of references. First, 2 Esdras 10:26-27:

• 26 And see, suddenly she made a very great fearful cry, so that the earth shook at the noise of the woman
• 27 And I looked, and see, the woman appeared to me no more, but there was a city built, and a large place revealed itself from the foundations; then I was afraid, and cried with a loud voice, and said,

Let's stop there to discuss what we have just discovered. The Woman is the City, and for a witness, lets drop down to 2 Esdras 10:44, as we are told again, who the woman is.

• 44 “This woman, whom you saw is Tsiyon; and when she spoke to you, even she whom you see as a built city,

So, as stated here in 2 Esdras 10:44, the Woman is indeed, Tsiyon, the Built City. We can get another witness to this scripture as we go to the book of Revelation of John 21:2:

• Revelation of John 21:2
• 2 And I, Yoḥanan, saw the qodesh city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the shamayim from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

There it is: The Woman is the City, Yerushalayim, the Bride, and the Righteousness of the Saints Adorns her as is mentioned in Revelation 19:8:

• 8 And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the qodeshim (saints).

Now, continuing with our point, and we say yet again, for everything good, there is a counterfeit. If the evil principalities and powers in high places have their way, not only will all things be taken from you in this life (and not for the good of the Yahad), your very soul is also at stake. Remember though, from previous studies, Soul = Body, Not Spirit. The devil can kill your soul (body), but cannot kill your spirit. Only Yah can do that. Matthew 10:28.

• 28 “And do not fear those who kill the body [soul] but are unable to kill the being [spirit]. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both being [spirit] and body [soul] in Gĕy-Hinnom.

In that Light, Lets keep moving forward, and talk about the word "pollution", as it is discussed in Levi 17:8,  which can actually come in many forms of purposeful contamination, such as, vaccines, food, water, and the very air you breath. So lets let Scripture interpret Scripture by getting witness, as we reference what we consider a couple of very important scripture concerning this topic, Beginning with 1 Enoch 7:1-6, concerning the fallen angels or watchers.

• 1 Enoch 7:1-6 [Yah Scriptures]
• 1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose one for himself, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them,
• 2 and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them to know plants. And they became pregnant, and they brought forth great giants, and the giants brought forth Nephilim, and the Nephilim brought forth Ĕli’uḏ:

(On a side note, we see some major issues with this particular translation of (1 Enoch 7:2 ), continuing to 1 Enoch 7:3.

•  3 Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them,
•  4 the giants turned against them and devoured mankind.
•  5 And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood.
•  6 Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

As we have noted above, the Yah Scriptures version of this scripture is a bit off. so, we will reference also the Richard Laurence Version, and maybe even others.  1 Enoch  7:10-15:

•  1 Enoch  7:10-15 [Richard Laurence]
• 10 Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees.
• 11 And the women conceiving brought forth giants,
• 12 Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labor of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them;
• 13 When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them;
• 14 And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood.
• 15 Then the earth reproved the unrighteous. 

And even another version from, Dr. A. Nyland.

• 1 Enoch 7:1-6 [Dr. A. Nyland]
• 1 They and the rest took consorts. Each one chose their own. They had sex with them and defiled themselves with them. They taught them charms and sorceries, the cutting of roots, and the uses of plants.
• 2 The women got pregnant and gave birth to Nephilim whose height was three hundred cubits.
• 3 They consumed everything humans produced. When humans could no longer sustain them, 
• 4 they turned against them, in order to consume them. 
• 5 They began to do wrong against birds, beasts, reptiles, and fish, and to eat each other’s flesh, and to drink their blood. 
• 6 Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

Alright, let's add RH Charles to the mix. 

• 1 Enoch 7:1-5 [RH Charles] 
• 1. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants.
• 2. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: 
• 3. Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. 
• 4. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. 
• 5. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. 6. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

We would also like to reference the oldest known version of 1 Enoch 7 as well. 4Q201 Col 1 Frag 3 of the Dead Sea Scrolls.  Even though much is missing in the DSS, this should help us to determine which translations are closest to the DSS.

• 13 These are the leaders of the groups [of] ten; th[ey and th]eir [lieu] tenants  [. . . they took] 
• 14 women of all that they chose and [. . .]
• 15 and to teach them sorcery [. . .] 
• 16 and the women became 
• 17 pregnant by them and bo [re . . . and giants] were being born on the earth  [. . . they consumed] 
• 18 the labor of all the sons of men and did not [. . .] 
• 19 were conspiring to slay humankind [. . .] 
• 20 against every bird and [beas]ts of [the] earth [. . .] 
• 21 [and in] the heavens and to devour the fish of the sea; [their own] flesh [. . .] 

Alright, as far as witnesses are concerned, the Dr. Nyland version, Richard Laurence, RH Charles, and the DSS, are fairly closely aligned with each other, other than RH Charles, telling us Giants grew to 3000 Ells, in height, while the other versions maintain 300 Cubits or Ells. These other versions agree that the Nephilim were Giant and the offspring of the fallen angels. The Yah Scriptures version is just confusing at best. Also, the DSS version of 1 Enoch 7, is much more closely aligned with the "Richard Laurence", "Dr A Nyland", and "RH Charles" versions. I know this may seem confusing to some, but take heart, Yahuah Elohim would not only bring a flood to rid the earth of this deep level of corruption, He would also equip Noah with the means to combat the corruption which would continue even after the flood. And, after the flood, the devil and his many demons [dead offspring of the nephilim] planned to do the very same thing, as before the flood; that being, to not only corrupt mankind, but also, to kill mankind. let's continue with Jubilees 10:1-16, for more very important information on this topic, because, Yahuah will give Noah something to combat the Drug Sorcery [Pharmakeia - G5331] against humankind. 

• Jubilees 10:1-16 
• 1 And in the third week of this Yoḇĕl the unclean demons began to lead astray the children of the sons of Noaḥ, and to mislead and destroy them.
• 2 And the sons of Noaḥ came to Noaḥ their father, and they informed him concerning the demons which were, leading astray and blinding and slaying his sons’ sons.
• 3 And he prayed before Yahuah his Elohim, and said, “Elohim of the spirits of all flesh, who has shown kindness to me, and has saved my sons and I from the waters of the flood, and has not caused me to perish as You did the sons of destruction; for Your favour has been great towards me, and Your kindness has been great to my being. Let Your favour be lifted upon my sons, and let not wicked spirits rule over them lest they should destroy them from the earth.
• 4 “But may You baraḵ my sons and I, that we may increase and multiply and fill the earth.
• 5 “And You know how Your Watchers, the fathers of these spirits, acted in my day. And as for these spirits which are living, imprison them and hold them fast in the place of condemnation, and let them not bring destruction on the sons of your servant, my Elohim; for these are evil, and created in order to destroy.
• 6 “And let them not rule over the spirits of the living; for You alone exercise rule over them. And let them not have power over the sons of the righteous from this time and forever.”
• 7 And Yahuah our Elohim commanded us to bind all. 
• 8 And the chief of the spirits, Mastĕma [satan], came and said, “Aḏonai, Creator, let some of them remain before me, and let them listen to my voice, and do all that I shall say to them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able to execute the power of my purpose on the sons of men; for these are for corruption and leading astray before my right-ruling, for the wickedness of the sons of men is great.”
• 9 And He [Yah] said, “Let the tenth part of them remain before him, and let nine parts descend into the place of condemnation.”
• 10 And one of us He commanded that we should teach Noaḥ all their medicines; for He knew that they would not walk in uprightness, nor strive in righteousness.
• 11 And we did according to all His words: all the wicked evil ones we bound in the place of condemnation, and a tenth part of them we left that they might be subject before Satan on the earth.
• 12 And we explained to Noaḥ all the medicines of their diseases, together with their accomplishments, how he might heal them with herbs of the earth.
• 13 And Noaḥ wrote down all matters in a Book as we instructed him concerning every kind of medicine. Thus the evil spirits were prevented from hurting the
  sons of Noaḥ.
• 14 And he gave all that he had written to Shĕm, his eldest son; for he loved him exceedingly above all his sons.
• 15 And Noaḥ slept with his fathers, and was buried on Mount Luḇar in the land of Ararat.
• 16 Nine hundred and fifty years he completed in his life, nineteen Yoḇelim and two weeks and five years. 

And the devil even does the very same thing as we gain more understanding of the return of Yahusha our Messiah. When the High Priest of Yahuah, that being, Messiah, returns, we can get a reality check as to who will be in the kingdom and who will not, as we see here in Revelation 22:14-15.

• 14 “Baruḵ are those doing His Commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of ḥai [life], and to enter through the gates into the city.
• 15 “But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.

Now, allow me to explain something; an observation if you will. When I was in the ARMY many years ago, I was a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical, Warfare Defense NCO. My job was to safeguard those that were in the path of being attacked by Nuclear Radiation, Chemical Agents, and Biological Agent. And I am here to tell you today, that the food you buy from the market, is mostly GMO, and it is Contaminated with Hazardous Chemicals, Unclean Nano-bots, Heavy Metals, and Unspeakable Unclean Biological Contamination, with some foods you are literally eating your own as a result of human body parts being used as Fertilizer. The water you drink, is Contaminated with Hazardous Chemicals, your own sewage, Unclean Nano-Bots, Unclean Peptides, and if not filtered, is dangerous to consume. The air we breath is filled with pollution, such as I am unable to declare in the presence of human beings. The Heavy Metals, Chemical Agents, Nano-bots, Tic's, Mosquitos, Unknown Biological Agents, and more, is being dumped on us, by the millions of tons daily, in an effort to Kill, Steal, and Destroy, and to Block the Sun, Moon and Stars, and is Dangerous and Hazardous to All Life on Earth. When you think about it, nothing can grow without light. Yahuah, sent His Son to be a Light upon the earth, and to guide us on a path of Truth and Righteousness. With His light, we can grow Spiritually, and with His Favor, some of us will even endure to the end keeping His Way. Now, the enemy is covering the luminaries, physically with pollution, and likewise, the enemy is also covering up the truth of all things with lies heaped upon lies, when one tells a lie enough times, people tend to believe the lies. The truth is, just about everything we have been taught in life, by our Schools, the Church, the Government, is a lie. The deception is far and wide, and only with the help of the Set-Apart Spirit of Yahuah, can we find hope, and truth, and see past the lies, that the devil has blinded us all with. With all of this being said, We would like to backup again to Jubilees 10:10-14, one more time, for an observation concerning Noah's Book of Medicines.

Now, this is very important, please understand; this book of Medicines for every kind of diseases was given by Yahuah Elohim, to Noah, on this side of the flood, and I am convinced that at least some parts of this book still exists today, in some shape or form. With this in mind, I have some thoughts that I would like to share with you.

In homeopathy, Materia medica  Latin for "medical material" is the body of knowledge describing the medicinal properties of homeopathic remedies. It is our belief that some information from Noah's Book of Remedies, may very well still be preserved in writings that are quickly being removed from our memories, as they are being removed from publication, as well as being scrubbed from the internet.

The New Wine and The Final Stand

Shalom brothers and sisters,

Grace and peace to you in the name of YAHUAH.

What I’m about to share is not meant to scare or overwhelm you, but to cautiously bring awareness to something urgent we need to pay attention to in this hour.

Today I bring you a timely message titled:

      “The New Wine and the Final Stand”

Can I ask you something? When was the last time you felt spiritually full? Not just busy or entertained, but truly overflowing with the presence of YAHUAH?

If I’m honest with myself, I believe I would say, “It’s been a while.” There’s a dryness beginning to settle in. Joy is withering. Prayer feels heavy. The fire that once burned brightly in my prayer closet, my worship, and love for the Word feels dim at times.

If that’s you, hear this: You are not alone. You are not crazy. The Word of YAHUAH spoke of this very reality through the prophet Joel.

THE CRISIS JOEL REVEALS (Joel 1:1-12)

Joel ministered during a time of total devastation; not one swarm of locusts, but four.

Jol 1:4  “What the gnawing locust left the swarming locust has eaten, and what the swarming locust left the crawling locust has eaten, and what the crawling locust left the consuming locust has eaten.”

Wave after wave. Crops destroyed. No grain meant no bread. No vine meant no wine. No oil meant no light. Even Temple worship stopped.

When Joel says “the new wine has failed,” he’s pointing to more than literal drink. In Hebrew, châdâsh yayin (new wine) symbolizes joy, blessing, and YAHUAH’s favor. Its failure meant the nation’s joy had withered.

Yet through this natural disaster, YAHUAH painted a picture of a deeper spiritual reality.

THE LOCUSTS IN OUR DAY

When you read Joel chapter 

Jol 1:6  “For a nation has come up against My land, strong, and innumerable. Its teeth are the teeth of a lion, and it has the fangs of a lioness.”

This was more than insects. It was judgment. An invasion.

I believe we can see similar locusts in our generation; eating away at the new wine. Here are four major areas:

1. Environmental/Biological locusts:  
We see fields parched by excessive drought where crops should grow. The National Weather Service and forecasters are warning of "flash droughts" across the West right now, and conditions are severe. I don't know if you're aware of this, but Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam are struggling at critically low levels, threatening hydroelectric power for millions in the region. Above us, our skies are being manipulated through geoengineering programs, sprayed to block the sun, to manipulate weather patterns and what falls from those operations lands on us, our animals, and our crops.

In other places, communities are being drowned by record rains that the soil cannot absorb, with some areas getting a year's worth of rain in just a few days. At the same time, we're witnessing the rise of pests like ticks carrying Lyme disease, Alpha-gal syndrome, and other new threats creeping into homes, homesteads, and farming communities where they were never seen before. It's shocking and consuming. Farmers are calling it ruin.

Creation is groaning (Romans 8:22). These are birth pains (Matthew 24:8). The vine and fig tree of our age are being laid waste.

2. Economic Locusts
Empty shelves. Fractured supply chains. Rising costs for food and fuel.

This echoes Revelation:

Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A measure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius. And do not harm the oil and the wine.” 

A denarius was a day’s wage for a common laborer. One day’s work for barely enough to feed one person.

3. Technological locusts:
Systems of surveillance expanding. Cameras, data, facial recognition. Public authorities press into private lives in ways our fathers never imagined. Privacy is stripped bare like the vine in Joel’s day. The draw of AI and the destructiveness it causes, job loss, spiritual replacement even deaths. 

4. Financial Locusts
The push toward digital currencies and centralized control. Revelation 13 warns clearly about who will control the ability to buy and sell.

While a denarius once bought a day’s bread, today we see a deeper scarcity spreading. 

Not just of wheat and barley, but of truth, righteousness, and the fear of YAH.

Spiritual invaders are creeping in through the broken windows of our society, our homes, and our hearts: sin, fear, compromise, materialism, and unclean spirits…exactly as Joel warned:

Jol 2:9  “They rush on the city, they run on the wall. They climb into the houses, they enter at the windows like a thief.”

They are snuffing out the lamp of YAH in our midst. The new wine is failing… and it will progress even more unless we respond.

THE SHOFAR: ARE WE HEARING THE ALARM? 

Yet in the middle of it all, the shofar is sounding.

Jol 2:1   Blow a shophar in Tsiyon, and sound an alarm in My set-apart mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the earth tremble, for the day of יהוה is coming, for it is near:

This shofar was never just music. It was the ancient air-raid siren: “Wake up! The enemy is at the gate!”

Joel describes an advancing unstoppable army, leaving desolation behind. I believe we are living in the tension between Joel 1 and Joel 2. The warnings are loud: through droughts and floods, shortages and surveillance, a world accelerating toward unprecedented times, and most of all…the absence of truth, righteousness, and the fear of YAH.

Can you hear it?
Do you see it?
Do you feel the urgency in your spirit?
Or have we become so numb to the alarm that we roll over and keep sleeping?

This is why Joel’s next words carry such mercy.

REND OUR HEARTS (Joel 2:12-14)

After describing total devastation, YAHUAH speaks some of the most hopeful words in Scripture:

Jol 2:12  “Yet even now,” declares יהוה, “turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”

Even now , after the locusts, after the failure, after the compromise; mercy is still extended.
YAHUAH is not impressed with torn garments or outward religious shows. He wants something deeper: 

Jol 2:13  “And tear your heart and not your garments, and turn back to יהוה your Elohim, for He shows favour and is compassionate, patient, and of great loving-commitment, and He shall relent concerning the evil.”

What does it mean to “tear your heart”?

It means raw, gut-level honesty before Elohim and no more hiding. It means refusing to wait for the world to change before you do.

Tearing your heart is also rejecting surface-level understandings of scripture. It is a full, unreserved return to YAHUAH with a broken and contrite spirit that He has promised not to despise (Psalm 51:17).

Lay down the distractions, not just obvious sins, but the subtle ones: anxiety over the news, trading privacy for convenience, and numbing the dryness with empty activity instead of seeking His face.

The call is clear: Ask. Seek. Knock. Return actively to YAHUAH and Yahusha HaMashiach.

THE PROMISE: RESTORATION & OUTPOURING (Joel 2:18-32)

When we return, YAHUAH responds with power:

Jol 2:18  “And let יהוה be jealous for His land, and spare His people.”

Jol 2:25  “Then I shall repay you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, and the consuming locust, and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you.”

Only YAHUAH can restore years, the time anxiety stole, the joy compromise ate, and the peace fear devoured.

And then the greatest promise:

Jol 2:28  “And after this it shall be that I pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions.”

We see that this actually began in Acts 2, but it is not finished. Fresh outpourings await those who rend their hearts.

CLOSING

1. Recognize and name the locusts eating your new wine.
2. Rend your heart in sincere repentance, not a show, but a surrender.
3. Return fully to YAHUAH through Yahusha HaMashiach, He is the Door.
4. Believe His promise of restoration, rain on dry ground, bread for empty tables, and freedom in the midst of pressure.

You may have noticed I highlighted four areas. In Scripture, the number four often speaks of completeness, the four corners of the earth, the four winds, and the totality of creation under YAHUAH’s control. These pressures show the fullness of the groaning in our day… yet YAHUAH remains sovereign.
May we have ears to hear what the Ruach HaQodesh is saying in this hour.

ENDURE TO THE END

Brothers and sisters, what is coming will be even greater than what we see now. The locusts are only the beginning. The birth pains will intensify. But take courage.

As Yahusha warned in 

Mat 24:13  “But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.”

Endure in repentance.

Endure in prayer.
Endure in tearing your heart and returning to Him daily.
Endure in keeping the new wine flowing by staying filled with the Ruach HaQodesh.

This is our final stand. Not in our own strength, but in total dependence on YAHUAH and Yahusha HaMashiach.

Hold fast. The One who promised restoration and outpouring is faithful. He will carry us through. May we be found enduring when the shofar sounds its final note.

Prayer
YAHUAH Elohim, we hear the sound of the shofar. We see the locusts in our land and in our hearts. We rend our hearts before You right now… not our garments, but our hearts.
Restore the years the locust has eaten. Pour out Your Set-apart Spirit upon us.

In the mighty name of Yahusha HaMashiach we pray.
