By The Blueprint - by: Christine Schraufnagel
WE CANNOT APPROACH YAHUAH ON OUR OWN TERMS
Can I be honest with you? The Tabernacle wasn’t born from a creative burst, or a feeling, or a committee vote.
Mosheh didn’t hike up the mountain, get inspired, and sketch something on a scroll. YAHUAH gave him exact instructions, a blueprint…if you will.
Not a suggestion.
Not
“do what feels right to you.” A detailed pattern. Why? Because what
Mosheh was building on earth had to be a copy of what already exists in
the shamayim (heavens).
Shemoth (Exodus) 25:9
“According to all that I show you – the pattern of the Dwelling Place and the pattern of all its furnishings – make it exactly so.”
Shemoth (Exodus) 25:40
“So see, and do according to the pattern which was shown to you on the mountain.”
Think about it: Fifty loops of blue. Exact measurements. Gold clasps. Goat hair curtains. One veil separating the Set-apart Place from the Most Set-apart Place. Very specific and intentional, no?
If it didn’t match the heavenly pattern, it wasn’t His Dwelling. That’s heavy… and I don’t think that principle has changed for us.
YAHUAH Elohim is Qodesh, and set-apart. He’s holy. And He still doesn’t dwell in confusion, mixture, or self-made religion.
Ibrim (Hebrews) 8:5
“who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly, as Mosheh was warned when he was about to make the Tent. For He said, ‘See that you make all according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.’”
Then the following part always stops me in my tracks.
Naḏaḇ and Aḇihu brought “strange fire” before YAHUAH… worship He never commanded. And fire came out from YAHUAH and consumed them.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 10:1-2

Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 10:1-2
“And
Naḏaḇ and Aḇihu, the sons of Aharon, each took his fire holder and put
fire in it, and put incense on it, and brought strange fire before יהוה,
which He had not commanded them. And fire came out from יהוה and
consumed them, and they died before יהוה.”
Uzzah …just wanted to help! The oxen stumbled, so he reached out to steady the ark. Good intention, right? But he touched what YAHUAH said not to touch.
2 Shemu’el (2 Samuel) 6:6-7
“And the wrath of יהוה burned against Uzzah, and Elohim struck him there for the fault. And he died there by the ark of Elohim.”
And Sha’ul… he “meant well” too. He saved the best sheep and cattle to sacrifice. But listen to what Shemu’el told him:
1 Shemu’el (1 Samuel) 15:22-23
“Then Shemu’ěl said, ‘Does יהוה delight in ascending offerings and slaughterings, as in obeying the voice of יהוה? Look, to obey is better than a slaughtering, to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of יהוה, He also does reject you as sovereign.’”
I read that and have to ask myself: How many times have I offered YAHUAH my “good intentions” instead of simple obedience?
Unauthorized worship and man-made traditions don’t bring us closer. They’ve always brought distance… or judgment.
Real worship is the kind that brings real intimacy with YAHUAH, which still means following His directions.

Not my feelings.
Not cultural preferences.
Not popular traditions that contradict His Word.
Marqos (Mark) 7:7-9
“And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.’ ‘Forsaking the command of Elohim, you hold fast the tradition of men.’ And He said to them, ‘Well do you set aside the command of Elohim, in order to guard your tradition.’”
Also see 2 Ki 17:19 and Mat 15:3-9
Here’s the beauty of it though: Yahusha HaMashiach didn’t come to scrap the pattern. He perfectly fulfilled that Tabernacle pattern. He is the true Dwelling Place.
Yoḥanan (John) 1:14
“And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us.” Do you see it? Tent—Tabernacle
Then He tore the veil with His own body.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 27:51, Ibrim 10:19-20.
Through Him we now have access, but it’s still on the Father’s terms: in spirit and in truth, with a humble and obedient heart.
Yoḥanan (John) 4:23-24
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him. Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.”
So here’s where it lands for me: I can’t say “I love You, YAHUAH” and then ignore how He said to approach Him.
Yahusha was clear:
Yoḥanan (John) 14:15
“If you love Me, keep My commands.”
1 Yoḥanan (1 John) 2:3-4
“And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
Love isn’t measured by how sincere I/we feel. It’s measured by obedience. The Tabernacle teaches me this one thing: HE DEFINES how He is approached; I don’t.
But can I tell you the best part? His house still has a blueprint, a plan, a path to follow, but He didn’t leave us with an impossible construction project.
Yahusha didn’t abolish YAHUAH’s pattern. He became it!

YAH
is doing something incredible: writing that same Torah on our hearts
and that full completion will come to fulfillment one day.
Gosh to know it all …without question.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:33
“For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ěl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.”
Ibrim (Hebrews) 8:10
“Because this is the covenant that I shall make with the house of Yisra’ěl after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws in their mind, and I shall write them on their hearts, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.”
He’s not asking us to sew goat hair curtains. He’s asking us to let Him build in us and to walk in His pattern, by His Ruach (Spirit), on His terms; that’s where real closeness lives.
Praying this post plants seeds and draws people to His pattern, not our own.

Think
about it: YAHUAH gave Yisra’ěl instructions for diet, for clothes, for
how to plant crops, for how to treat strangers, for resting. He’s not
vague. He’s not random. He cares about details because He is Qodesh —
set-apart.
So why would we think the one thing He’d leave up to us is how we worship Him? The one thing that’s about Him?
He gave Mosheh a pattern for the Tabernacle. He gave us a pattern for living. And Yahusha became that pattern. He’s not asking for our creativity in worship. He’s asking for our obedience.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Many blessings
