How to Overcome - Part 8-A, "There shall be pollution such as I am unable to declare in the presence of human beings"

Shabbat Shalom brothers and sisters. Today we will continue with a deeper look at the Patriarch Levi, as we work through Levi Chapter's 15-19. This is a continuing part of the study series, "How to Overcome", and this is Part 8. Lets open up with Levi 15:1-4, and this 2 part series within the larger series is Titled: "There shall be pollution such as I am unable to declare in the presence of human beings".

  • Levi 15:1-4 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 1 Therefore the Miqdash [(Sanctuary) Set-Apart Place] which Yahuah chose shall become desolate through your uncleanness, and you will be captives in all the nations.
  • 2 And you shall be to them a revolting thing, and you shall receive scorn and eternal humiliation through the just judgment of Elohim.
  • 3 All who hate you will rejoice at your destruction
  • 4 And unless you had received mercy through Aḇraham, Yitsḥaq, and Ya’aqoḇ, our fathers, not a single one of your descendants would be left on the earth.

For a long time now, the children of Yah have been sifted through the nations, and indeed we are held captive in all the nations, even today. Let's hop on a rabbit trail; here we go!

There is not one nation that keeps the Torah, the Law, the Way of Yah, Not one nation that keeps the Statutes, the Sabbath's, the Festivals, the Feast Days of Yah. We are all in Babylon, All of us. Let's take a closer look at this nation; the land of the free? Now, about the land which you live on right now. Home Owners for example: Do you think you own the land that you have worked and toiled and paid for? Try not paying the taxes that have been placed on that land you say you own. The authorities of this land of freedom will take it from you. Honestly, We The People, do not own the land which we now think we poses. In addition to that, there are thousands, yes thousands of laws that one must keep in order to be considered a good citizen in this Land of the Free. Are you keeping all of those laws? For example: When you drive to work, do you go the speed limit?, for most, probably not. With this in mind, There are laws in this nation that, at present, right now, that are not being enforced, that would alarm most if they knew of them. For example: If the powers in high places choose to enforce the noanhide laws, which were signed into law on March 7th, 1991, which are indeed a part of the laws of this nation, what do you think will happen to you if you break them. Let's find out. If you go to noahide.org, and Navigate to The Noahide Ninim Sub-Laws, then start reading, everything seems biblical, right? Like number I. No Idolatry, II. No blasphemy, III. No Theft, IV. No Murder, V. No adultery. Okay, so far so good, right? Then we slide down to part VI, which instructs government authorities to "To appoint judges and officers in each and every community." And when you drop down to Part VI - 16, we see this:

  • 16 "That the court is to administer the death penalty by the sword [i.e., decapitation]."
  • Positive Mitzvah 226
  • Exodus 21:20 "[The sin] shall surely be avenged"

Okay, on the surface, all may seem kosher..., (pun intended), however, Even Saying the name of our Elohim out loud, Yahuah, Yehovah, Yahweh, is considered blasphemy by those that observe the aural law. Also, Acknowledging our very own Yahusha, Yashua, Yahushuah, also known in the christian world as Jesus, as our very own Messiah (and Indeed, He Is Our Messiah), is considered acknowledging a false deity within the aural laws of Talmudic Judaism, which is in their eyes, blasphemy, which holds the penalty of, and I quote: "the death penalty by the Sword [i.e., decapitation"]. Remember, Today's Jews, that practice Judaism by keeping the traditions of Judaism, I.E. the Talmud, just like the Pharisees of our Messiah's time on the earth, when Yahusha was here in human form, they do not believe Our Very Own Yahusha (Yeshua) to be the the Messiah. Therefore, Part VI of the noahide laws, Number 16, applies to all who believe Yahusha is the Messiah. while we are on this topic, let's also break down the scripture that is being used, to chop off our heads. Exodus 21:20.

  • Exodus 21:20 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 20 “And when a man smites his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall certainly be avenged.

What? Wait a minute..... I must ask, do we see anything wrong with the application of this scripture that is being used to dust off the head chopping Guillotines that awaits those that Say the name of our Elohim [Yahuah, Yehovah, Yahweh], and also to acknowledge the name of our Messiah, Yahusha in His proper role as our very own High Priest? Something is definitely wrong here! As Exodus 21:20, is speaking of someone, like a slave owner for example, who would beat a servant with a rod, and thereby killing him, or her. Do you agree? The bigger question is, where is the scripture that tells us not to acknowledge our very own Messiah, as the Messiah, and High Priest? And, where is the scripture that tells us Not to even say the name of our Most High Elohim, Yahuah, Yehovah, Yahweh? Let's look at the facts: When we look up the word Lord in the KJV Bible, we find it is in the 66 book canon 7970 times. Looking up the word Lord in the Strong's, we find Strong's number H3068, which is "Yehovah" right there in the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance; not Lord. My point is this, why would Yahuah have his name in the bible 7970 times, if He, Yah, did not want man to know His name? The fact is, you will only find the Talmud keeping Jews not allowing YOU and I to say His name, and you will not see this limitation or law, written within our canons. Don't think for a minute that the 66 book canon with a host of twists and turns, or boo boo's if you will, was given to you so that you would seek to correct the mistakes within its pages. Enough said..

Next, as we move forward, our Messiah told us that we would be hated for His namesake, and it is true, we are hated for Yahusha Messiah's name sake. In fact, our Messiah told us that some of us would be delivered up to Governors and Sovereigns, and not because they love us and want to give us the keys to the city. No no... Lets go to Matthew 10:18-22, to continue with this thought.

  • Matthew 10:18-22 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 18 “And you shall be brought before governors and sovereigns for My sake, as a witness to them and to the gentiles.
  • 19 “But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it shall be given to you in that hour what you shall speak,
  • 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Ruaḥ of your Father speaking in you.
  • 21 “And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and a father his child. And children shall rise up against parents and shall put them to death.
  • 22 “And you shall be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.

Let's just say, for an example, that, oh,  80% of the U.S. calls themselves Christian at the present time, and if indeed, the aural traditions of men, the Talmud, and their Noahide Laws are enforced, and heads begin to roll, how many, of those 80%, do you think will denounce our very own Messiah, Yahusha, Yashua, Yahoshua, and even say they Never Knew Him? And how many would gleefully obay the Noahide Laws. for the answer, Let's answer this with a question: How many people donned masks when Babylon instructed them to do so, even though there was no Law on the books here in the U.S. forcing anyone to do so? In That Light, I believe the number of those that call themselves christian would diminish greatly. Don't you? Even among Torah Keeping, Messiah Believing peoples, here in this country alone, how many do you think would back out and conform to the Noahide Laws? Let's allow Scripture give the answer to that question. 2 Esdras 7:6-14.

  • 2 Esdras 7:6-14
  • 6 “There is also another example: a city is built, and put on a broad field, and is filled with all good.
  • 7 “Its entrance is narrow, and is put in a dangerous place to fall, so there is a fire on the right hand, and a deep moat on the left,
  • 8 and only one path between them both, even between the fire and the water, so narrow that only one man could go through at once.
  • 9 “If this city now were given to a man as an inheritance, if he should never pass the danger placed before it, how shall he receive this inheritance?
  • 10 And I said, “It is so, master.” Then he said to me, “So also is Yisra’ĕl’s portion.
  • 11 “Because for their sakes I made the world; and when Aḏam transgressed My Laws, then what is now done was established.
  • 12 “Then the entrances of this world were made narrow, full of sorrow and hardship. They are but few and evil, full of dangers, and very laboursome.
  • 13 “For the entrances of the greater world were wide and sure, and brought forth incorruptible fruit.
  • 14 “If then those who live do not strive to go through these distresses and futilities, they shall never receive that which is laid up for them.

Please, let this sink in for a moment... Right here, right now, we are on the narrow path that leads to that Greater World; that Great City filled with All Good; who's entrance is Wide and Sure; that place that brings forth Incorruptible Fruit. There is only One Way to Get There; That being, "the narrow path, which is full of dangers, and very laboursome". Point Made, right?

Now, Let's move on, to: Levi Chapter 16, Which opens with the term "seventy weeks", which we will try to keep color coded to keep track of everything from multiple sources concerning this topic of "seventy weeks".

  • Levi Chapter 16
  • 1 Now I have come to know that for seventy weeks you shall wander astray and profane the kehunnah [priesthood] and defile the sacrificial altars.
  • 2 You shall set aside the Torah and nullify the words of the neḇi’im by your wicked perversity. You persecute just men: and you hate the pious; the word of the faithful you regard with revulsion.
  • 3 A man who by the power of the Most High renews the Torah, you name ‘Deceiver’, and finally you shall plot to kill Him, not discerning His eminence; by your wickedness you take innocent blood on your heads.
  • 4 I tell you, on account of Him your qodesh places shall be razed to the ground.
  • 5 You shall have no place that is clean, but you will be as a curse and a dispersion among the nations until He will again have regard for you, and will take you back in compassion.

Levi is speaking of 70 weeks of years whereby the children of Israel will set aside the Torah of our Elohim and turn to wicked perversity. they indeed have shed the blood of our very own Messiah, as they did not even discern who He was when He came in the flesh, and even today the children of this earth do not know Him, keeping not the Torah of His Father; which Yahusha kept perfectly, and admonished us to do the same. In fact, if Yahusha Messiah does not come early, none will be saved.

Let's backup to Levi 16:1 for a moment, to make some other observations concerning the Seventy Weeks.

  • Levi 16:1
  • 1 Now I have come to know that for seventy weeks you shall wander astray and profane the kehunnah and defile the sacrificial altars.

The Term: "Seventy Weeks" is also mentioned in the book of Daniel 9:24-27, which states:

  • Daniel 9:24-27
  • 24 “Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and for your qodesh [holy] city, to put an end to the transgression, and to seal up sins, and to cover wickedness, and to bring  in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and naḇi [prophecy], and to anoint the Most Qodesh.
  • 25 “Know, then, and understand: from the going forth of the command to restore and build Yerushalayim until Mashiaḥ the Prince is seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It shall be built again, with streets and a trench, but in times of affliction.
  • 26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Mashiaḥ shall be cut off and have naught. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the qodesh place. And the end of it is with a flood. And wastes [wars] are decreed, and fighting until the end.
  • 27 “And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall put an end to slaughtering and meal offering. And on the wing of abominations he shall lay waste, even until the complete end and that which is decreed is poured out on the one who lays waste.”

Daniel is telling us that after 7 and 62 weeks, which equals 69 weeks total, our very own Messiah will be killed in the flesh; and He indeed was. Messiah Yahusha also told us who was going to come while He is away from us for a time. Right here in John 14:30, which states clearly.

  • John 14:30 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 30 “I shall no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he possesses naught in Me,

Since we are on the topic of the ruler of this world; we know that many think that the devil and his angels are in prison right now. While there are angels in prison, not all of them are in prison, nor is the devil in prison. we also know there are those that think that the angels in prison have already been released. we do not subscribe to either of these scenarios. Here's what we do know from our studies; At this present time, a tenth of the fallen angels are indeed with the devil as we see in Jubilees 10:7-14. Oh, we also feel it is important for us to understand that Yah has indeed given us the means, whereby we may be able to combat the spells and sicknesses that the devil casts on many. We will get to that in just a moment. But know this, not only does the devil have demons (spirits of dead nephilim), doing the devils bidding, it is probable that the devil has a 10th of the fallen angels, also known as the fallen watchers, doing his bidding right now. Let's take a look at Jubilees 10, starting with verse 7.

  • Jubilees 10:7-11
  • 7 And Yahuah our Elohim commanded us to bind all.
  • 8 And the chief of the spirits, Mastĕma [the devil], came and said, “Aḏonai, Creator, let some of them remain before me, and let them listen to my voice, and do all that I shall say to them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able to execute the power of my purpose on the sons of men; for these are for corruption and leading astray before my right-ruling, for the wickedness of the sons of men is great.”
  • 9 And He said, “Let the tenth part of them remain before him, and let nine parts descend into the place of condemnation.
  • 10 And one of us He commanded that we should teach Noaḥ all their medicines; for He knew that they would not walk in uprightness, nor strive in righteousness.
  • 11 And we did according to all His words: all the wicked evil ones we bound in the place of condemnation, and a tenth part of them we left that they might be subject before Satan on the earth.

This is proof positive that the devil is free, and the prince of this age, and the devil has angels doing his bidding as well, just as was mentioned in Jubilees 10:9. Now get this, and this is very important, as we mentioned earlier concerning ways in which our Father has given us to combat the evils of the devil, as we continue to read.

  • Jubilees 10:12-14 [Yah Scriptures]
  • 12 And we explained to Noaḥ all the medicines of their diseases, together with their accomplishments, how he might heal them with herbs of the earth.
  • 13 And Noaḥ wrote down all matters in a Book as we instructed him concerning every kind of medicine. Thus the evil spirits were prevented from hurting the
    sons of Noaḥ
    .
  • 14 And he gave all that he had written to Shĕm, his eldest son; for he loved him exceedingly above all his sons.

Yah indeed gave Noah the means to use herbs to make medicines to cure the diseases that the devil would cast upon mankind. Not only that, Yah had Noah write a book concerning these herbs, and it was also passed down to Shem, Noah's Favored Son. I can't help but wonder if Yah has shared some of that knowledge with Moma Hawk while she was here with us, and of course, Two Feathers.

Now, getting back to the Seventy Weeks that we were talking about a few moments ago, I would like to show two other sources with the term Seventy Weeks as well. First lets visit the Wise Abegg and Cook version of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Titled "A New Translation".

  • 4Q181 Frag. 2 Page 270
  • Frag. 2 1 [. . . Abraham until he bor]e Isaac, [ten generations. The prophetic interpretation concerning Azazel and the angels who went in to]
  • 2 [the daughters] of man, so that [they] bore mighty me[n] to them. [And

  • 3 [. . .] He satisfied Israel with plenty (or Israel, in seventy weeks, He entreated)

  • 4 and those who love iniquity, and pass on guilt as an inheritance, all [. . .]

  • 8 He established them in His truth and [. . .]
  • 9 in all their ages [. . .]
  • 10 th[eir] creatures [. . .]

Here we can see most likely, Seventy Weeks is mentioned concerning the wickedness of Israel, and here is a quote from the "Gesa Vermes" version of the DSS that we can also consider.

The Ages of Creation [(page 553-Penguin Classics) (Page 607 Digital version) The Complete Dead Sea Scrolls, Translated by Geza Vermes]

A badly worn manuscript from Cave 4(4Q180) has been published under this title by J. M. Allegro. Its decipherment and interpretation have been further improved by J. Strugnell and J. T. Milik. The only section yielding coherent sense deals with the myth (sorry, had to do the strikethrough, its no myth), of the fallen angels and the daughters of men, which is based on Genesis vi, 1-4, and fully developed in 1 Enoch. If Milik’s reconstruction is correct, the work presents human history as divided into seventy weeks of years (70 x 7 years), the first ten of which cover the period from Noah to Abraham. The manuscript is claimed by Strugnell to belong to the first century CE.

here, we can see that quite possibly, 70 weeks is actually 70 weeks of years. We have good witnesses on this topic, so Let's show a graphic to put this all into perspective.

Let us know if you like the Graphic. Let's continue with Levi Chapter 17.

  • Levi Chapter 17
  • 1 Because you have heard about the seventy weeks, listen also concerning the kehunnah [priesthood].
  • 2 In each Yoḇĕl there shall be a kehunnah: In the first Yoḇĕl the first person to be anointed to the kehunnah will be great, and he shall speak to Elohim as father;
and his kehunnah shall be fully satisfactory to Yahuah, and in the days of his joy, he shall rise up for the deliverance of the world.
  • 3 In the second Yoḇĕl the anointed one shall be conceived in sorrow of the beloved one, and his kehunnah shall be praised and shall be glorified by all.
  • 4 The third kohĕn [priest] shall be overtaken by grief, and,
  • 5 the fourth kehunnah shall be with sufferings, because injustice shall be imposed upon him in a high degree, and all Yisra’ĕl shall hate each one his neighbor.
  • 6 The fifth shall be overcome by darkness;
  • 7 Likewise the sixth and the seventh.
  • 8 In the seventh there shall be pollution such as I am unable to declare in the presence of human beings, because only the ones who do these things
    understand such matters.
    .
  • 9 Therefore they shall be in captivity and will be preyed upon; both their land and their possessions shall be stolen.
  • 10 And in the fifth week they shall return to the land of their desolation, and shall restore anew the House of Yahuah
  • 11 In the seventh week there will come kohenim [priests]; idolaters, adulterers, money lovers, arrogant, Torahless, voluptuaries, pederasts, those who practice bestiality.

Alright, there are some interesting things to decipher here, and one thing is for sure, Vengeance will be upon the priesthood for all of their purposeful lawlessness, and we will also discover that the Zadok Priestly line of Aaron, was indeed righteous. but, we will visit that reality next next time we meet; when we continue with part 8-B of the series "How to Overcome". But before we go, "Seventy, is a number that shows up in many ways. Here's some homework for you if you are interested; How many angels came to confuse the languages when the Tower of Babyl was taken down? You guessed it, seventy angels. Jasher 9:32, and how many languages did Joseph have to learn overnight, as the angels taught him, so that he could climb all seventy steps to reach the sovereign. Start at Jasher 48:33, or even before. What an amazing read. We will pick up next time with Part 8-B of How to Overcome, and continue to move through  Levi Chapter 17, As the Title of the study will become much more relevant in the next study
