Shabbat Shalom Brothers and Sisters, and Welcome to Ask Seek and Knock. Today we will continue with a study from the series, "How to Overcome", subtitled, "In the Seventh Week", and this is part 9-B, in the series. Please note, that there is sensitive material in this study that may not be suitable for children. Please consider this as we continue. Part 8 and 9, are a bit of a deeper dive into the Patriarch Levi, as he was commanding his Children with instruction from Yah, on his Death Bed. Today we will pick up where we left off. Levi 17:11, where we were going through just exactly what the priests would become in the latter days, and since our Messiah is the only Priest that we answer to at this time, any and all that call themselves priests here and now, well.... are not priests of Yah. We may talk more about that after a bit. First, we left off at the word or term, "Proud" or "Arrogant". Let continue the study, as we read Levi 17:10 in ["The Complete 100 book Apocrypha"], which is also Levi 17:11, in the [Yah Scriptures]. We have already discussed the terms: idolaters, adulterers, lovers of money, and are now on the term: proud, or arrogant. Let's get started.
- Levi 17:10 ["The Complete 100 book Apocrypha"]
- 10 And in the seventh week they will become priests, [who are] idolaters, adulterers, lovers of money, proud, lawless, lascivious, abusers of children and beasts.”
- Levi 17:11 [Yah Scriptures]
- 11 In the seventh week there will come kohenim; idolaters, adulterers, money lovers, arrogant, Torahless, voluptuaries, pederasts, those who practice bestiality.
- Deuteronomy 8:14 [NASB]
- then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;
What does Pride do? Pride causes one to forget Yahuah Elohim. Since we are using two different versions, lets also go to Scripture for an idea of both terms "proud" and the term "arrogant". 1 Samual 2:3.
- 1 Samual 2:3 [NASB]
- Do not go on boasting so very proudly, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And with Him actions are weighed.
Since we are at it, lets go ahead and take a look at the Strong's numbers for both terms:
- Hebrew Word Study - H1364
- gaboahh — gaw-bo'-ah — גָּבֹהַּ
- NASB Hebrew Lexicon
- [Proud]
- הַּבׂנָּ
- \gaboah\ (bdb:147a)
- Etymology: from H1361b
- Definition: high, exalted
- Usage: haughtiness(1), haughty(2), high(22), higher officials(1), lofty(1), long(1), longer(1), longer one(1), official(2), proud(2), taller(1), very proudly(1), which is high(1), who are lofty(1).
The word High is seen more often than the word proud, and the way it is worded "Do not go boasting very proudly, can work with "Do not go on boasting very "high" or "Lofty", we can see that the same meaning will be the result. Continuing to "arrogant.
[arrogant]
Hebrew Word Study - H6277

NASB Hebrew Lexicon
קתָעָ
\athaq\ (bdb:801b)

NASB Hebrew Lexicon
קתָעָ
\athaq\ (bdb:801b)
Etymology: from H6275
Definition: forward, arrogant
Usage: arrogance(1), arrogantly(2), insolent(1).
Here we can see that the term "arrogant" is just that, "arrogant", and if we move to the Strong's Real Hebrew Bible Dictionary, we see the word "arrogant" can mean this:
I think we get the picture, lets continue to the next term used in Levi 17:10 (11).
This term is not only self explanatory, we can actually go strait to the Scriptures to get a definition for the term Lawless. After all, Scripture Interprets Scripture. Most of you already know where we are going with this. 1 John 3:4, which states clearly:
- 1 John 3:4
- 4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
That's right, the definition for sin is lawlessness, and the definition for lawlessness is sin. I must say, we have a choice. We can live a life of sin, or we can repent and stop living lawlessly. And for those that say it is not possible, What does Yah Say? Is it hard to live a life free of sin? 1 John 5:2-3.
- 1 John 5:2-3 [Yah Scriptures]
- 2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Yahuah and guard His Commands.
- 3 For this is the love for Yahuah, that we guard His Commands, and His Commands are not heavy,
This means, Yah's commands, Yahuah's Statutes, Yahuah's Sabbaths, His Feast Days, His Torah, His Way, IS NOT HARD. Yah tells us in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, exactly what He expects of us.
- Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 [Yah Scriptures]
- 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Revere Elohim and guard His Commands, for this is to all mankind!
- 14 For Elohim shall bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.
In case this is too difficult for some to understand, lets see how the NASB puts it.
- Ecclesiastes 12:13: [NASB]
- 13 The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
- 14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.
In case we need a little assistance understanding what the word Commands, or Commandments is, Lets take a look at the Strong's Real Hebrew Bible Dictionary.
Looking at the Strong's, we see that this word is "The Law", Human or Divine, however, we are not talking about Man's law, we are talking about Yahuah Elohim's Law. This is Yahuah Elohim's Law, His Statutes, His Torah, His Sabbaths, His Feasts, His Festivals, His Way. And Yahuah makes sure to tell us this is Forever. Backing up to Ecclesiastes 3:14, Let's read together.
- Ecclesiastes 3:14:
- I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him.
What is this scripture telling us? It is telling us that all, He, The Father, has done, is Forever. Not here yesterday and gone today, No No! Forever. Just to make sure we understand each other, Lets also visit Deuteronomy 30:10-11. Are you ready for this? Let's walk through it together.
- Deuteronomy 30:10-11 [NASB]
- 10 if you obey the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.
- 11 “For this commandment which I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far away.
Wow, and What is Yah commanding us to do today? To Keep His Commandments, All of them that apply to you which you can keep. To Keep His Statutes, you know, His Torah, His Sabbaths, His Dietary Laws, His Festivals, His Feast Days, His Way. What did Yah Tell us? He Said: "“For this commandment which I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far away. Who else told us to keep His Commands? Paul, Here is what Paul Said. Are you ready for this? Here it is. Romans 3:31.
- Romans 3:31 [Yah Scriptures]
- 31 Do we then nullify the Torah through the belief? Let it not be! On the contrary, we establish the Torah
Alright, Lets look up the word: "establish", in the Strong's Real Greek Bible Dictionary.
- Greek Word Study - G2476 [establish]
- histemi — his'-tay-mee — ἵστημι
- Strongs Real Greek Bible Dictionary
- 2476 ἵστημι [I(/STHMI] {hístēmi} \his'-tay-mee\
- a prolonged form of a primary στάω [STA/W] {stáō} \stah'-o\
- (of the same meaning, and used for it in certain tenses); to stand (transitively or intransitively), used in various applications (literally or figuratively):--abide, appoint, bring, continue, covenant, establish, hold up, lay, present, set (up), stanch, stand (by, forth, still, up). Compare 5087.
Before moving on, lets see if our very own Messiah tells us to keep the Torah of Yahuah, in John 14:21, which states clearly:
- John 14:21
- 21 “He who possesses My Commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.”
Wow Did Yahusha Messiah just tell us to keep the Commands of Yahuah? Lets make sure, and drop down to John 14:23-24:
- John 14:23 [Yah Scriptures]
- 23 Yahusha answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.
So far so good; Please listen to this next verse, this is very important; especially if one really does Love our Elohim and our Messiah, as most people claim to.
- John 14:24 [Yah Scriptures]
- 24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father who sent Me.
I must ask, what does John 14:24, mean to us? Does it mean that Yahuah Elohim, Yahusha Messiah, Paul, and all of the other prophets are telling us to disregard the Torah of our Elohim? Is it? Or are we being told to KEEP and DO all Law that we can keep and do? To Establish the Torah, is to Continue in Keeping The Torah. Okay, I hope we have made a good case for our Elohim, Messiah, and the Prophets. Remember as we mentioned earlier, Yah Never Changes. He is not going to establish the Torah one day, and then, dis-regard it the next. Please consider that, as we continue through this study of the Written Word. Lets go to the next term in Levi 17:10 (11).
Okay, this term: "lascivious", and in the Yah Scriptures: "voluptuaries". What does this mean. Lets just look in a Dictionary to see:
- lascivious
- adjective
- las·civ·i·ous - lə-ˈsi-vē-əs
- : filled with or showing sexual desire : lewd, lustful
- lascivious acts/thoughts
Umm, blick! And lets also look up the term: voluptuaries?
- voluptuary
- noun
- vo·lup·tu·ary / və-ˈləp(t)-shə-ˌwer-ē
- Synonyms of voluptuary
- : a person whose chief interests are luxury and the gratification of sensual appetites
And again, I say.... blick! Since this remark goes hand in hand with the next remark, lets go to the last remark mentioned in Levi 17:10 (11). depending on the version you are using.
For those of us that did not know, I think we all know what these words mean now. This is human beings that Sexually Abuse Children, and Beasts Alike. Yah Scriptures specifically uses the word Pederasts. Let's look that word up also.
- pederasts
- noun
- ped·er·ast /ˈpe-də-ˌrast
- : a man who desires or engages in sexual activity with a boy
Alright, Is anything like this going on, on the earth today? I will toss an example on the screen that demonstrates just how high up this goes, and let you decide:
There is no doubt that Bill and Hillary Clinton are at the center of a major human trafficking ring, including sex trafficking. But how many remember a woman by the name of Laura Silsby? Silsby, now known as Laura Silsby-Gayler was jailed for the kidnapping of 33 children in Haiti and eventually wound up working for the company that put out Amber Alerts, which were said to be notifications to warn of children who were missing or kidnapped. However, she was provided assistance by none other than Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Am I pointing my finger to the Clinton's? No. I am just showing an article that is still online today. We really do not want to give any more examples, but the fact is, there is a horrific child trafficking underground, which goes WAY UP the dark chain of command, right here in the US. Levi 17:11 is truly talking about Today.
This brings up yet another Scripture that we should take to heart. Ephesians 6:11-12: Only through the Ruach, do we have any chance at all to stop the attacks of the enemy. Lets read together:
- Ephesians 6:11-12
- 11 Put on the complete armour of Elohim, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the devil.
- 12 Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the shamayim.
For even a deeper understanding of the Fruits of the Spirit, please see our Study Titled: "Fruits of the Spirit, Galations, Writings of Elijah, Dead Sea Scrolls, and More!" We highly recommend this video, as its importance cannot be understated.
Alright, Here is what we have discovered so far as we have worked through the last few studies. We are being poisoned in our sky's, our water, and our food. Corruption is ramped, in every area of local and national government, the medical field, and even organized religion (our Bibles have been grossly altered), Truly we believe that Judgment is coming, and our very own Messiah, Yahusha will need to come early, or humanity will perish. Matthew 24:21-22.
- Matthew 24:21-22 [Yah Scriptures]
- 21 “For then there shall be great distress, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
- 22 “And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the sake of the chosen ones those days shall be shortened.
There is no time like the present to Repent and Come back to Yahuah through our very own Messiah Yahusha.
Well, that is all we have for today. Please consider the grave situation that humanity is in. Please consider coming back to our Elohim, Yahuah, through our Messiah, Yahusha. We may very well be in the Seventh Week. If the sky was opened up like a scroll this very day, where will you stand? Please consider this study, and do your part by Studying to Be Approved. Test Everything. We will end this study on this note of hope, because in the midst of all that we have talked about, we want you to know that there is hope.
- Jeremiah 29:11:
- For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
