Could His Face Be Digital?

In the midst of growing chaos and destruction, many cry out for relief. The deceiver will step onto the stage, promising peace, safety, wonders, and solutions to every crisis. “Finally, someone or something who fixes it all!” the masses will cheer.

The Chaos and the False Promise of Relief

We see the stage being set daily. The world is in unrest, technological promises, and pressing needs create a deep hunger for quick deliverance. Yet Scripture has long warned that this very desperation opens the door for deception. What appears as progress and relief can quietly become chains, trading freedoms of thought, movement, worship, and obedience to Yahuah, for convenience and “safety.”

The Lawless One and Lying Wonders

(2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 2009) 

“As to the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as if the day of יהוה has come. Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim. Do you not remember that I told you this while I was still with you? And now you know what restrains, for him to be revealed in his time. For the secret of lawlessness is already at work —only until he who now restrains comes out of the midst. And then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth and bring to naught with the manifestation of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved. And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood,in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.”

The Apostle Paul/Sha’ul gives us clear timing and characteristics:
“Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim… The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth…” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, 9-10, TS2009)

This figure (and the system he heads) will operate through HaSatan’s power. The signs and wonders will be impressive, but they are rooted in falsehood. Elohim allows a working of delusion for those who refuse the love of the truth and delight in unrighteousness. Even true-seeming miracles must be tested (see Deuteronomy 13:1-5).

“When there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he shall give you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder shall come true, of which he has spoken to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other mighty ones – which you have not known – and serve them,’ do not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for יהוה your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being. “Walk after יהוה your Elohim and fear Him, and guard His commands and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him. “And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams is put to death, because he has spoken apostasy against יהוה your Elohim – who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim and ransomed you from the house of bondage – to make you stray from the way in which יהוה your Elohim commanded you to walk. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. 

The Image That Speaks and Demands Allegiance

The Second Beast (Revelation 13:11-18, TS2009)

“And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he does great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from the heaven on the earth before men. And he leads astray those dwelling on the earth because of those signs which he was given to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword, yet lived. And there was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause to be killed as many as would not worship the image of the beast. And he causes all, both small and great, and rich and poor, and free and slave, to be given a mark upon their right hand or upon their foreheads, and that no one should be able to buy or sell except he that has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is the wisdom! He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty six.The second beast (false prophet) performs great signs — even calling fire from heaven — and deceives the earth into making an image to the first beast.” 


“And there was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause to be killed as many as would not worship the image of the beast.” (Revelation 13:15, TS2009)

He then enforces a mark on the right hand or forehead so that no one can buy or sell without it. In our day, many wonder if this “speaking image” could have a digital face generated through AI avatars, deepfakes, interactive systems, or a world-wide digital framework that demands loyalty. Whether through technology or other means, the pattern is unmistakable: impressive deception, a living image that speaks, enforced worship, and economic exclusion for those that refuse.

The Love of the Truth — Our Only Safeguard

The decisive factor is not superior intellect or prophetic knowledge; it is receiving the love of the Truth. Yahusha is the Truth (John 14:6). Torah is truth (Psalm 119:142). When we love the Truth with our whole heart, we obey it, guard it, and refuse compromise even when costly. Those who delight in unrighteousness instead become vulnerable to delusion. Deuteronomy 13 reminds us that signs and wonders, no matter how convincing, must never lead us away from wholehearted love for Yahuah and obedience to His commands.

Awake, Watch, and Stand Firm — The Call to Endurance

Therefore, do not be deceived. Cling to the love of the Truth. Stay in wholehearted obedience to Torah and the testimony of Yahusha. Test every spirit. Choose the narrow path over the broad way of ease.

The storm rages, but the rainbow of Yahuah’s covenant promises remains for those who endure in faith. As Revelation 14:12 declares, “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones: here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahusha.”

Practical Steps for These Times

• Immerse daily in Scripture and prayer in the sacred names.
• Test all teachings, “solutions,” and wonders by whether they draw us closer to Yahuah’s  Torah and Yahusha HaMashiach.
• Guard your heart against the love of ease or relief that requires compromise.
• Encourage one another in fellowship, as we renew our covenant commitment.
• Continue stewarding what Yahuah has given you — whether on the homestead or       through creative works that point others to Truth.
 

Beloved, the warnings purify us, not frighten us. The One on the throne is faithful. Yahusha has overcome. Those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will not worship the beast or its image.

Awake. Watch. Stand firm. The rainbow remains. 
Let us walk in wholehearted obedience and love of the Truth.
