🌿 Festival of New Wine Begins This Evening – Month 5, Day 3 🌿

Brothers and Sisters, 

As the sun sets this evening, we enter the Festival of New Wine according to the calendar in the Temple Scroll (11Q20 Col. 20) and related texts like 4Q365 frag. 23. 

Fifty days after the wheat firstfruits, we remember the first of the new wine harvest, offered joyfully to Yahuah with thanksgiving from the tribes (a portion from each, as described).

This isn’t one of the core Torah feasts, but it reflects the heart of those who loved Yahuah’s provision and sought to honor every blessing in His creation cycle. 

Like Noah’s joyful festival after the flood, or the promises of new wine in Joel 2:19, 24; it points to abundance, covenant faithfulness, and the joy of walking in obedience.

How we may remember it:

•  Give thanks for Yahuah’s provision in your fields, garden, or daily bread.

•  Reflect on the true Vine, Yahusha, who makes all things new.

•  Share a cup of new juice or wine (symbolic) with gratitude.

•  Study the Scrolls alongside Scripture; let it stir deeper love for His Word.
